UPDATE - Aug. 3, 2009: Sorry, sorry, sorry for the delay in posting the latest in my 'Pieces' series. I promise you I am in the process of writing it, but am having just a little trouble getting back into the swing of things. There are really two reasons for the delay. 1) I was on vacation visiting family and 2) My aunt is having problems with her pregnancy so it is a little hard to find the time and mood to write. I have been trying to give you a little something through iPod challenges when I can. I will try to post more real stories soon. In the meantime, thanks for your patience. - Amanda Croft Update - Aug. 15, 2009: First, I really appreciate those of you who have expressed concern for my aunt and her baby - it truely means a lot to me. Second, I am pleased to announce that my aunt delivered my cousin last Thursday morning, and they are doing ok, even though my cousin was a premie and will be in the hospital for a while yet. Third, I promise I am still working on my stories and apologise again for the wait. I should be able to post the newest 'Pieces' story by next week, but don't hold me to that. Update - Aug 27, 2009: I will be out of town this weekend so there won't be any uploads for a while. Also, my stupid adapter for my laptop is fried or something - so my laptop os practically dead and useless at the moment, meaning even if I had access to internet, I can't access my works in progress. I'm working on getting a new one but until then, I guess all of my stories are on an indefinate hiatus. Sorry. Thank you for all of the interest in my first story, Getting it Together. Also I would like to thank the reviewers I have had that encouraged me while writing it and informed me that in 'TV land' Harm, Gibbs, and Tony would have met when Harm was accused of Singer's murder. I AM PLANNING A SEQUEL TO GETTING IT TOGETHER so feel to message me if you have any ideas you think I should include in the next story. It is currently on hiatus due to conflicts with another story and problems with the plot. I want to get the first few chapters written before I post anything so that you aren't left hanging for too long. I promise I am working on the sequel for Getting it Together too but it's harder because the victims of the newest case have to come strictly from my head and so I have to make up all the back ground, etc. Please be patient with me. I do have a couple ideas for one-shots, but we'll see. I also think it would be cool to do crossovers between NCIS, Bones, JAG, and Sue Thomas FBEye - I figure crossovers between these shows would be fairly easy since they all revolve around law enforcement of some sort and are set in and around DC. Unfortunately, at the moment none of my ideas are concrete enough to be written down let alone posted. I will try not to keep you waiting too long for something.
