Hello everyone! I thought I would update my profile. It has been about 6 months now that I have been writing fanfiction and it has been a wonderful experience. I've made friends of all ages and over 99 of the response and feedback has been very helpful. I still can't believe how much more writing has improved, but I also can't believe it was so, so terrible in the beginning. I really hope to reedit my work soon.

My bio is the same: married mom of a 7-yr-old with 3 Basenjis at home with us and a horse that doesn't live with us. I have degrees in management/social science (BA) and nursing (BSN) both from the University of Pennsylvania. I hold a certification in hospice and palliative care nursing and two professional designations in group insurance. I also have done extensive grad work in management and nursing, but my grad degrees, like my career, are on hold due to disability.

I have a vast amount of life experience and have done some amazing things but some crummy stuff has happened too. It sucks to be orphaned at any age. It sucks to be sick. It is awesome to save lives and it is incredible to ease someone's suffering at the end of life. It is always difficult to pronounce someone dead. Writing insurance contracts is not quite as boring as reading them. Tearing down goalposts isn't that difficult if you have a dedicated group of people and work together. It is incredible to be on a horse whether galloping over fences or riding quietly in the woods. It is especially awesome to party with the Secret Service!

I am a Beta now and am always available for help with writing or research, and can offer my 'expertise' in medicine, birth/illness/death, politics, the business world, and tons of other stuff.

My favorite shows are Teen Titans, Avatar the Last Airdbender, South Park, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, plus SNL and Red Eye. I love the new Batman: Brave and the Bold especially the Blue Beetle and the Gibble people!

Favorite Couple: I ship a few couples in various fandoms but the primary one is Robin/Starfire and the derivations: Nightwing/Starfire, Dick Grayson/Koriand'r, Dick/Kori or Kory I do not like RobRae at all - RobStar is canon! She turns to Robin for an explanation of what happened and why she did not know about it. 9/11: Let us Never Forget!

Incidentally, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were central to the 'Trigon' issues of the mid 80's the New Teen Titans. Trigon stood with one foot (hoof?) on each of the towers as he opens the gateway to his own dimension to suck the energy out of the earth. Chilling.

1) Holy Communication Batman, Leave me Alone! - status: started - The ongoing dialog between Batman and Robin concerning not dating a teammate - and per multiple requests, I am reworking it as the story of Batman's reaction to Robin and Starfire, from Tokyo through Chapter 5 of 'Teen Titans: A Day Off' and beyond!

2) Grief Cycle: About the death and dying of a teammate - a bit of in the Teen Titans comics universe rather than the cartoon's. In any event, takes takes place after the show ends. Very sad, not related to "A Day Off"! Started, really sad, very hard to write;

3) I am definitely doing a sequel to 'Double Take' and there will be a wedding!

4) Be happy, Be well - Teen Titans comics inspired - Sitting at a bar in Bludhaven, Dick Grayson/Nightwing contemplates life without Starfire. Status: started, kinda on hold while I'm going through the Teen Titans and Outsiders comics - thank heaven for eBay!;

5) Another AU Kori and Richard story - this one with vampires - I know its been done but I think I have a cool twist to it. The outline is started, still a bit away

6) Double Legacy -Starfire / Nightwing, on their daughter Mariand'r known as the hero Nightstar, going into the family business;

7) The League of Super Fan Boys (working title) - Control Freak gets out of prison in France (post Titans Together) and turns to the 'light side' and tries to gain the respect of actual heros - cowritten with my husband!
