HOLY SHIT, I've been away a long time. Good news I am still alive.

So yeah, reasons for not updating.
Real life,
Social life
Work
Don't feel as much for the stories as I used to, mostly due to better writing

and most of all

I don't feel like I have to write anymore, This has to do with the reason I started to write in the first place.
I was bullied at school, I felt underappreciated, I was the 'nerd' of the class - good in theory, less in PE and the like.
I started writing to disconnect myself from reality really, and wrote or rather projected myself into my writing and created my personal Mary sue character.
People liked the story, and I felt some rush that some people liked my stories, that I WAS worth it.

Of course, things change in 8 years - schools, jobs, self-esteem. And over the years I felt less like writing because my feelings change. I didn't need to hide my feelings like I did before.
I didn't feel the craving some minor ego-stroking I got from reviews
I have friends on whom I can rely, not fair-weather ones who'd stab me in the back once I served my purpose.

Which started a disconnect between the current me and the stories I wrote.
I can't place myself in my old characters

The Harry Potter/ Sonic the Hedgehog crossover which I started in 2004 was awesome back then, but now...
I realise that if I want to continue my stories, I need to reconnect to the characters and that is easier said then done.

The characters are completely void of any weakness, which is for personal reasons but makes a lousy story.
In order to reconnect I would have to reinvent the characters which would turn the story upside down.
Of course, I realise that the people who'd read the story then would have grown with me, but not always.

So yeah... this is the reason I stopped writing the stories...I HAVEN'T QUIT!! but since my last update was in 2008 I can't blame you for thinking that.

I wrote that I would complete my stories but in light of the above, I don't know if I can remake them and keep the same characters.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.
I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.
I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.
