News: 4/2/2012 Dear readers, I have made a very personal decision: I'm dropping Sonic Boom from completion. For a long time now, my interest in Sonic the Hedgehog has been waning. I don't hate the series, far from it. But I've been playing the games for so long now, and it's also been a long time since I've actually played. I don't even know what Sonic Team is doing these days. But, luck being what it is, it's not that simple: with interest in Sonic fading away, I still have two Sonic-related fanfictions that haven't been completed yet. One is an almost complete but very convoluted thriller whose dark mood and tone strays far from that of the original games. The other is a light-hearted comedy that is only a few chapters underway and with no overall story plan. Neither one has been touched in over a year. The fact of the matter is, my musical tastes have changed, and I'm starting to see some pretty big holes in Sonic Boom's plans to get famous and make it big. For those reasons, I'm abandoning the project so that I can focus all of my remaining Sonic-related attention on the retelling of the genesis game, Sonic The Hedgehog. I'm sorry if you were terribly invested in Sonic Boom, but I have no ideas left, and probably won't have any more, at least not for that premise. I'm not going to delete the story or anything; you can still see what's been written at any time. But it will be marked complete, and left on the site for posterity's sake. I'm sorry I couldn't finish it, but hopefully this decision will prevent me from having to abandon two stories... About me: Name: Just call me Skip Turner. That's close enough. The Almighty List -Astroboy (1962) This list will grow even larger as more anime is acquired and consumed. Upcoming Works: Sonic the Hedgehog: A novelization of the classic genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). This story will also integrate Tails Adventure as a parallel storyline. Witness how Ivo Robotnik takes over the United Federation, the largest free nation on Mobius. This story will take place on South Island, which (in this fan's universe) is located east of the mainland United Federation, with Mobotropolis, the nation's capital, located on the island. Universe is based in the official Sega universe, with some artistic license used to facilitate the progress of a story. It will have many chapters, and it is a long story, but I believe it will be well worth the time to read it. Please be sure to review when I have submitted some chapters. Overall story line is very dark. I predict that the rating will be either T or M. Exciting fast-paced action, but too intense for the younger crowd. Reader discretion is advised. Please be careful.
