Hey guys!! I figured its high time I fixed up this profile and cut out most of the crap I've put on here for the past year and a half or so. Its made me realise how much I've matured since I started up on fanfic.net.

Anyway, for those of you that are curious Youkai Kisaki basically means Demon Empress in Japanese. I find that the name is quite fitting for my personality sometimes. Especially considering my fickle nature when it comes to writing my fanfiction stories.

To those of you who, by some feat of nature are still reading my stories, I haven't died I just can't find the motivation to write anything except the occasional chapter. I often fall prey to the annoyance known as procrastination and school work. Due to this my chapters have been slow coming and i apologise for that. Send me a pm if you feel I need a bit of a kick up the rear end to get something done but to be honest school work is top priority for me so it'll probably be ignored until I have free time which is rare for me with a job as well.

I have a variety of interests and i'm sure that most of you don't care what they are. In summary I listen to a lot of rock music like Nickelback, Within Temptation, Skillet, Rise Against, AC DC and a whole other range that I'm too lazy to type. I'm a huge anime fan and have watched everything from Bleach to Death Note to Ouran High School Host Club to Fruits Basket. I love anything shonen related but my top favourites are Bleach (Tite Kubo), Prince of Tennis (Takeshi Konomi) and D-Gray Man (Katsura Hoshino). I also have an adoration to anything by Studio Ghibli. Ponyo is utterly adorable, Howls Moving Castle is an amazing movie and Spirited Away almost made me cry.
However I utterly loathe watching anime in English, as the English actors just ruin the mood in almost all anime I've watched. Sometimes it brings me to tears with how unemotional their voices can be. One of the flaws of being a Japanese student I guess.

One thing that people learn very quickly about me is that i am very passionate about anything movie or book related. I love going to the movies for that larger than life experience but at the same time love relaxing in bed and reading a good fantasy book. It would explain my love for reading fanfictions I guess.

I tend to take this passion to extremes ... because if this here are a few of my general annoyances. I have a pet peeve for people that spell the name Grimmjow with an 'aw' on the end as well as Soi Fon's name with a 'g' on the end. Grimmjow's name is clearly listed on fanfiction as the spelling I am using here, people must be utter idiots to not even be able to read what is right in front of their eyes. As for Soi Fon's name (admittedly I may be wrong now since fanfic has changed this for some reason) the only non-vowel sound ending that the Japanese use is the letter 'n.' Every other "letter" in the Japanese alphabet ends in a vowel sound (or 'aeiou' for the unaware) henceforth her name could hardly be Soi Fong ... is it that hard to comprehend?

Other pet peeves include gender changes in fics, the occasional pairings that do not work for specific characters at all (eg. MomoRyo [PoT, UnohanaKenpachi [Bleach]. HitsuYachiru [Bleach, Grimmjow and the majority of other characters in Bleach [Self Explanatory] and any others that break up canon pairings for no purpose when the fic is set in canon), and just general horrible writing (at least get someone to read your work before you post crap like that onto a site when there are people who appreciate proper spelling [at the very least] like myself) And also "I suck at summaries but it's a good story!" or "This is my first story so please read!" in a summary ... is it really necessary to tell people that? A) Are not summaries mini stories? and B) people care if you can write ... you're probably turning off more people from your story than you're going to attract ... people look for experienced writers who don't write like crap! If it's your "First story" then that indicates little writing skills ... not to mention little maturity either! so yeah thats about it!

One last rant before i finish typing is this ... God darnit! Does the amount of crap in PoT fanfiction piss you off as much as it does for me? There is nothing good being written on this genre of fanfiction any more … I can’t help but lose motivation in writing when I won’t get the same appreciation for my work just because, just like me, people are giving upon this fandom and any chance of finding a good story to read. I wouldn't even know where to begin with my annoyances ... generally dodgy plots and grammar, the high prevalence of gender change and M-preg fics are just the beginnings of my annoyances! Where are the good writers anymore?!
Just so I can make a stand against this absurdity I'm going to post the names (and links to) GOOD PoT writers that I admire, who are still trying to bring good fanfictions into the deep, dark depths of illiterate authors that flood ff.net currently! (PS. These are mostly Yaoi/Slash authors)
MoonExpressions, Amira Sukitsu, VioletRain03, Bright Yellow Bumblebee and Ria Sakazaki (Yeah thats about all I could find out of the 150 stories that have been updated from the 31st of March to the 29th of April 2011 aka 2 months) If your name is on here ... rest well knowing that you can write properly!
