| Mirthless Laughter |
Author has written 6 stories for Psych, NCIS, Dead Poets Society, and White Collar. As of September 5th, 2009: I, Mirthless Laughter, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else. I have joined the review revolution.
I'm Mirthless Laughter, or Anna, and I'll be your hostess this evening. There are a lot of miscellaneous facts on the menu tonight. For instance, there's the line that clearly states my gender to be female, and that I'm between the ages of thirteen and twenty. Which basically means I'm a teenage girl who has a lot of time to waste obsessing about television shows and movies and whatnot instead of actually doing something with her time. But it's all good. Okay, seriously. Enough of this waiter mumble jumble. Fanfiction I discovered a little while ago, and have since been churning out a few stories every now and then. I wrote a few pieces before I published my first; after watching Dead Poets Society and seeing Charlie, who was absolutely adorable in every fathomable way, I had to write something. And thus, What Ever Happened to Nuwanda? was born. Pending my recent transfer to a DPS fanfiction site, I decided to take this first piece down. It was down for quite some time while I worked out some issues I was having with swearing, even if it's firmly in-character. However, after quite a bit of consideration, I've decided to put it back up. I've been writing since I was very young. It's not like a faucet you can merely turn off (unless it's a leaky faucet, which annoys you and which you desperately attempt to turn off only to find it's impossible; I guess that's... a possibility. haha). I write when I'm not feeling happy, when I am feeling happy, when I want to be feeling happy... pretty much whenever I can. I do have a confession, though. Like a lot of wannabe-writers out there, I rarely actually finish stories that I start. This is why I'm mostly posting one-shots on here. Starting a story that I'll never finish doesn't seem particularly fair to those few readers that straggle through my stories. This also happens with my works of original fiction, which can be viewed at my fictionpress page under the same pen name; I've only actually posted one or two short stories there, with the occasional poem, because anything more would be pushing my luck. ;-) I am currently doing the 100 themes challenge for NCIS. If it goes well, like I'm hoping it will, I might extend this creative venture into other categories that catch my interest. I'm thinking about making one for Royal Pains (namely because I miss it, and want to find out what happens to my poor baby, Evan); I'm also contemplating the idea of making one for Dead Poets Society, because the movie was a classic of which I never tire. So yeah. My fuels: Mountain Dew and chocolate. I literally run on Mountain Dew. It keeps me pumped. I reckon it's my drug of choice. My non-writing activities, of which there are not many, include the computer, my dog, Bible Quizzing, church, and various other random activities throughout the year. I do what catches my interest, I guess you could say. 1. Anthony DiNozzo (NCIS) 2. Robert Chase (House) 3. Shawn Spencer (Psych) 4. Lisa Cuddy (House) 5. Ziva David (NCIS) 6. Abby Scuito (NCIS) 7. Burton "Gus" Guster (Psych) 8. Juliet O'Hara (Psych) 9. Charlie Dalton (Dead Poets Society) 10. James Wilson (House) Have you read a 5/10 fic before? haha, no. Do you think 3 is hot? How hot? Heck yeah. What do you think would happen if 6 got 1 pregnant? I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way. Do you recall any good fics about 9? yeah. Would 7 and 2 make a good couple? I'ma go with no. What is a better couple? 4 and 8 or 4 and 9? haha, if neither is a choice, it's the one I'm going with. What would happen if 7 discovered 3 and 8 in a secret relationship? amazingly, that actually does have potential. Is there such thing as a romantic fluff story for 4 and 10? Perhaps. Suggest a title for a 1 and 5 hurt/comfort fic. "Before We Were Two" What kind of plot would you use for 4 and 1? well. Does anyone on your friends list read 7 and 9 slash? I should really hope not. Are there any 5/3 fics? Nah. 2/1 4/9? Tony/Chase, Cuddy/Charlie? xD. Write a story title for 10/4 fic. "Unspoken Desire" Suggest a plot for a 7/6 fic. hmmm... Is there any 3/9 slash or femmeslash that you or your friend likes? um, no. 4/10? This seems to be your favorite, no? Okay, suggest title for a fic with 3/1 in it. Class Clowns. (= Suggest a title for 7/4 with love in it! One More Stop on the Route 2/8? Different Sides of the Fence. Have you ever read a good fic about 5? a few. What if 3 loved 6, but 1 loved 6 also and 3 wanted to kill 1? So... Tony/Abby, or Shawn/Abby? | |||||||
