About Clipped Wings and Inked Armor:

I love tattoos. Oh God, how I love tattoos. So my Edward is covered in them. I can see them in my head but I'm no artist so I will have difficulty providing a visual. I have a few tattoos myself one of which I would love to have covered over with something bigger and better. Unfortunately my father would probably have a coronary--I'm over 30--but really I don't want to rob my daughter of her grandfather prematurely, so I'm stuck with the stupid one I chose at nineteen. For now--until I grow some balls.

About piercings: I've had several in places I'm not going to discuss. I did have a tongue ring when I was in my late teens and early twenties. This is what I have to say about that. It had some serious benefits--but the two thousand dollars worth of dental and restorative gum tissue work I need to have because of it is not fucking worth it. Think about the long term repercussions please.

Viperbite: double piercing in the bottom lip, with some space between them, can be off to the side of the lip or on either side of the middle, in Edward's case they are off to the side.

Tongue ring: Barbell pierced usually through the center of the tongue

Industrial: Barbell piercing through the cartilage of the upper ear at two points.

Helix: Piercing on the outside shell of the upper ear (cartilage)

Anti-Helix: Piercing of the cartilage on the inside shell of the ear (closer to where the ear meets the head)

This is my first fanfic. Not the first one I've written but the first one I've decided to post. If all goes well maybe I'll post another one eventually.

I am highly annoyed with myself that I have used the American spelling of Armor, it has nothing to do with American spelling and everything to do with the fact that I will be spelling it with the 'u' in the story and it won't match the title. I'm so goddamn anal, it will irritate me endlessly.

I'm over 30-blank-year-old with an unhealthy obsession for a fictional vampire under the guise of Rob Pattinson.

I AM BACK AT WORK, IT IS INTENSE, THE CHAPTERS WILL COME SLOWER, I CAN'T APOLOGIZE BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO WRITE SHIT SO I MUST TAKE MY TIME.

During the first for months of my ridiculously energetic baby's life I was subjected to the horrific sounds of perpetual crying. All the fucking time. I was seriously wondering whether you could go insane from listening to a baby cry. During her infrequent naps I discovered that she would only sleep if she was sprawled out on my lap until she was about five months old. Since I have no use for soaps or Dr. Phil and I am an avid reader I decided I would see what all the hype was about, plus there was no way in hell I was going to be reading One Hundred Years of Solitude while I was getting three hours of sleep a night, so teen fiction it is.

And I fell in fucking love.

I read the series at least three times before my little girl stopped sleeping on my lap and then stumbled upon fanfic. I found the story Wide Awake by Angstgoddess003 who is a motherfucking literary genius and then went on to read other fanfic, some of which is gloriously smut filled with the added benefit of plot and fabulous writing.

Random stuff and petty annoyances:

I have a very foul mouth which doesn't work in teen fiction but certainly can in fanfic.

I am thankful that my daughter's first word was not fuck, but kitty was one of the first. Ha-fucking-ha.

I believe that Rob Pattinson is a God.

I hate it when people use the word irregardless, it's a double negative and non-standard and it is NOT A WORD.

I probably make a shit load of grammatical errors, correct me if you feel the need.

I hate it when people leave nasty reviews on fanfic, it takes guts to put your work out there which I clearly don't have yet--didn't we all learn in kindergarten that if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all? Although constructive criticism is a blessing and should be treated as such.
