Hello ladies and gents! It's been one hell of a hiatus, but I'm back and ready to go. My excuse? Lots of personal stuff, most of it long winded and able to be retold in only dramatic verse or monologue. But, some new developments - I'm heading into my final year at University with a degree in English. I know, I know, I was all gung ho for the sciences three years ago, but, to propagate a very cliche cliche, time works in mysterious ways.
I would like to thank all my former readers for their loving support all the way through and apologize most sincerely for my sudden, unannounced absence - it has been a long couple of years, and I am deeply sorry for not leaving so much as a note as to why I disappeared. I am also sorry to announce that I will not be finishing 'Van Helsing 3: The Fallen'. The storyline became so convoluted...is so convolted, I wouldn't know where to begin except to rewrite the whole thing, which I don't have the heart to do. I'm starting new and fresh with 'Indiana Jones' and going from there.
And so, without further ado, my new, improved profile...

News
Jones Family Anatomy: Part 11 now posted! Part 11 - Nine months is a small price to pay.
Let Sleeping Dogs Lie: Chapter 8 is now posted. Chapter 9 is a hair away from being completed. A hair, I swear!
As a consolation present for the amount of time it's taken me to update, I've got some bonus material for those of you who are interested. My writing process is heavily dependent on music. I create playlists based on whole stories or specific scenes. If any of you are looking for some good mood music for Sleeping Dogs, these are the tracks that have influenced it so far:
Within Temptation - 'Somewhere'
I Nine - 'Broken'
Clint Mansell - 'Requiem for a Dream'
Evanescence - 'Taking Over Me'
Chihiro Onitsuka - 'Rasen', 'Infection', 'Ryuuseigun'
Rihanna - 'Disturbia': I have no idea how this one made itself onto the list, but the video and the lyrics captured me. It doesn't help that the thing is catchier beyond all reason either!
Special thanks to everyone who reviewed! Catch you all later.
Quotation of the Time in Which I Don't Change My Profile
"The last time I saw you we had just split in two.
You was looking at me; I was looking at you.
You had a way so familiar I could ot recognize 'cuz you had
Blood on your face and I had blood in my eyes,
But I could swear by your expression that the pain down in your soul
Was the same as the one down in mine.
That's the pain that cuts a straight line down through the heart:
We call it love.
We wrapped our arms around each other, tried to put ourselves back together,
We was making love, making love.
It was a cold dark evening such a long time ago when by the mighty hand of Jove.
It was a sad story how we became lonely, two-legged creatures,
The story, the origin of love;
That's the origin of love."
~Steven Trask, "The Origin of Love" from Hedwig and the Angry Inch
