Author has written 18 stories for Lizzie McGuire, Shakespeare, Ice Age, Dead Poets Society, Scooby Doo, RENT, Animaniacs, and Hannah Montana. Hi, I'm DreamerChick and I'm a fanfic-aholic I've been writing fanfiction for a long time now...over six years, heading on 7.Yes, I'm in my 20s and studying to be a teacher, but fanfic is a(mostly) harmless pass-time I normally write it when I have writers block on my original works But when you see a new story from me, it's 'cause I'm sitting at a major road block and I can't get around it any other way. Or, occasionally, I've skipped my English Class and am sitting in the library study area and a thought just settled in my mind. I used to bounce in an out of fandoms, as you can see by my stats above this, but for now I'm pretty well stuck in RENT. I'm obsessed with it, and always will be. I know that makes me sound like a screaming teenager but RENT is life.Please, if you wish to discuss, PM me. And I've seen the stage show 3 times ( I count the cinecast of the final performance as seeing it live...it was damned close) so I'm drawing on a lot of different actors portrayals of the characters... so if a character seems different to you, or I describe one in a different way it's 'cause I'm using someone other than the movie cast- I love the movie cast and the movie but I've currently got the Closing Broadway Cast in my head. UPDATE This now includes Mark dodges A.Rapp fangirls A: Now that the final performance is on DVD Adam Kantor is my most accesable Mark (I love the 2005 movie but I love the stage show more so I draw from it 9 times out of 10) ...and B: I REALLY love something ...I really don't know what...about him. Plus, maaaaaaaany people write only the A team (Adam Pascal & Anthony Rapp) Mark and Roger. Nothing wrong with it, but I've really got a love for Adam K and Will Chase as the Filmmaker and Songwriter. Oh, and yeah, in case you can't tell, I ramble. My thoughts are never linear but highly jumbled (see Aaron Sorkin's Sport's Night...I actually loved that show 'cause I speak like that...my thoughts are jumbled and spring off in all directions...I go off in tangents easily) I support all pairings in all my fandoms that have them but in RENT I'm especially fond of Mark/Roger - slash or friendship but unrequited love rocks my world. Love over smut...emotions over hormones...no Porn without Plot. And yeah...I had more to say but I totally forgot what I was going for. I have the attention span of a six year old. Update 29 April 2009- I've not retired from fanfiction but I'm taking a hiatus. I'll keep reading, and reviewing but I'm kinda...not doing anything at the moment. | |||||||||
