Backpacking, backpacking and more backpacking!
My son and I thru hike parts of the Appalachian each year. Several teenage boys and myself (my son always brings a few of his friends), it's quite an experience let me tell you. They get kicks out of who can smell the worst at the end of the week. They all share a tent and I get my own. Thank God! I've gotten quite skilled at dehydrating our food and making gourmet meals for our trips. We started in Maine, and just crossed into the Vermont border last year.
