Well, time to update this thing here again, lol. What can I say aside that I´m a 24/7 Saiunkoku fangirl and german (which is the reason my english grammar sucks asses at times, but psst) And yeah I love to feed the almost abandon SaiMono-section here with the crap my mind spat out. But hey, mysteriously much people seem to like my FF´s o.O Yeah, there is the other fraction of the people who keep rolling their eyes saying "oh look another RyuukiXShuurei-story of her, wow how creative -_- ...but I try to block it out XD I think Saiunkoku on ff . net needs more love, so yeah let us together spray it with love and shinies here. Does it make even sense what I´m writing here? o.O

Somehow, I picked up a new obsession the last days. I gamed (and loved) "Dragon Age:Origin a hell lot the past weeks. I love the dark fantasy world, the characters and the awesome vivid story. Oh and I totally fell for this adorable dork Alistair, he is soo lovely when you romance him. So that´s why I begun to write Fanfictions for Dragon age...it´s pretty rare that I write FF´s aside the SaiMono-Fandom but this series/game deserves to get the love and attention from me.

Cuz Bioware IS god.

Update: 09/11/22: Somehow I find myself being incredibly busy the last weeks, so my time for writing FF´s is pretty much limited to...err... zero. However, while being busy with a somewhat life outside ff .net, as a result there won´t be any updates for "Sacrifices" and other SaiMono-FF atm. In the few spare time I have left, I rather write on Dragon Age Origin - one shots atm.

As for my current SaiMono-project; it´s called "Sacrifices". It is a story born in the depth of my sick mind, taking place AFTER Saiun-novel no. 14. Yes the real one. How someone can be so insane to try to continue such a complex story?Well you need ... a read prompt of the Saiunkoku FF-community, which stick in your mind like glue, mix it with impatience to wait how the REAL story continues, listen to different songs at your MP3 player and last but not least...a crazy mind thinking; Well let´s continue the real story, it´s going to be fun... and you get "Sacrifices". The story which I probably still will write when Sai Yukino already have published all her novel´s and finished SaiMono xD...but hey since I got nothing better to do -shrugs- I proudly present the nerve-wrecking process of my new looooooooooooong FF. Now updated and only available at my profile, wheeehee.

Progress of "Sacrifices"

08/10: Idea gripped my mind, it all started with a prompt I´ve read on the Saiun-FF community site. So I started brainstorming, joggled the ideas back and forth. Made up my mind about the involved chars and cursed my plot bunny the following days for making the story in my head more and more complex with each day.

08/15: Saw the light at the other end, yay. Therefore I wrote the very first draft, very vague story line for the first three chapter. Yet managed to outline the first chapter-happenings pretty clear. Done some research regarding the political plots and twists, read various passages again in case of using/needing them later on.

08/16: Had various WTH moments while researching (like: wth am I doing this? Its such an ambiguous storyline I´m planning...how should I ever able to realize it that its actually Saiunkoku-like and sensible?-moments O_O) Plotted more for the second chapter, which is vague outlined by now but not written down. Same goes for the first chapter as well.

08/17: Some brainstorming but most: Research, research, research and RESEARCH because I´ve recognized I overlooked a lot of things the first time reading the novels and side stories -.- The printed papers are piling up here waiting to get read by me. Realized I need to get much more background infos on various characters when I plan to use them. So for now I´m stuck with doing a hell lot of characterization and reading in general (Yuushun is killing me with his obscure and shady motives btw, argh) Hence no further chapter development.

08/18: Done a lot of reading, where things became clearer for me, yet there are many untied knots till now. Need more infos on the Hyou-clan and their reason of why they are so obsessed with Bara-hime (my today´s task). Pretty much solved the Shuurei/Bara-hime conflict already in my head. Changed my mind about the first chapter, cuz in it happens TOO much for just one chapter. So I´ll rewrite it to make things more slower with more foreshadowing and to make the FF more accessible to only-anime-fans of SaiMono. Need more ideas on a further convincing political plot -beats her plot bunny up screaming SPEEEAK speeeaaak to meeee -

Over a month later (17.09.09) : I´m still stuck with that piece and wonder about if I´ll be ever able to proper write it. I really like the idea and all but I still lack a good idea for the political things. Ou-Ki continues to give me headaches, I just dunno how to handle him -_- I know how to fully solve the Bara-hime/Shuurei conflict though but that not enough to justify this story. I might reduce the political intrigues to a minimum and concentrate more on the personal drama of the characters. Dunno, really...I just hope my plot bunny Charlie will come back soon from his vacations to enlighten me.

Another month later 10/16: For my beginning struggling, things run pretty smoothly now. I have finished the first chapter. Got a BR for it and even one who goes with me through the plot I´ve mainly sorted out. OH MY GOD THIS STORY IS GOING TO BE LOOOOONG O_O So chapter 1 should be released soon. Yaaaaay, that I still are able to witness this. Wow. xD Currently writing on chapter 2 but Charlie (color: pink, favorite food: popcorn,occupation: Plot bunny) thinks its funny to feed my with several other plot ideas while I try to concentrate to write this one on. Sadistic, mean bunny. Meep. Well at least I got a fitting and angsty profile picture now. It´s puuuuurfect for "Sacrifices" Yay.

Oh, FF´s I refuse to even look at are slash, everything about and involving TWILIGHT (cuz the book series itself is a tremendous badfic on it´s own...so I really don´t need to read about Bella Sue´s and Tinkerbell...err Edward´s "eternal love" -yikes- , Fic´s involving male characters becoming gay all the sudden ( Yes, Ryuuki loves Seiran but NOT and I repeat NOT in THAT way -throws up-), Yaoi. Self insert´s. Mary Sue and Gary stu stories (yes I look at you Mrs. Meyer -_- )

I know you don´t care but that´s my profile that´s why I thought I should bring it up. :P

Oh but I love DRAGON AGE, LotR, Skip beat, Buffy, PotC, Mass Effect, Inuyasha and 59258341 other series which I don´t remember right now o.O
