I'm just going to say this right now, I write Alternate Universe fics. ...Okay, if that didn't make you run off, you may proceed.

If you scroll down (or hit spacebar) and look at Stories in Progress, you'll probably (probably not) recognize the title Blurred Lines. Well, it's 'cause I'm rewriting it so it's less sucky. (If you were lucky enough not to read it, I've got excerpts further down to show that you didn't miss out on anything amazing.) I used to be something stupid like TwiceLucky before I realized it made me sound like an immature twat, so I changed it. That and the fact I hated it. Didn't like the fact I said twat? Fair word of warning: mostly everything I write has bad language in it. Yes, I'm sorry, but I can't help it.

I'm also rewriting something else that I've renamed twice already: High School Hostage Situation & Just a Normal Day. ...God it hurts to read the first one. Understand that I was kinda young back then, so you'll have to forgive me. I've given up on Tenacious Love since then, which was basically this crapfest where Riku rapes Roxas, Roxas goes to jail after trying to rob a convenience store and Sora, his brother of course, is dying of cancer. ...No, really. Don't worry, in the stuff I'm writing now there's zero mention of rape.

He confessed with a shameless laugh. No one really looked confused – except for Reno – and Aerith's look of surprise melted into a warm smile.

"I always had a feeling about you too."

"Heh, I'd say the same thing if I even knew this guy."

Reno gave him a thumbs up. Axel walked up to his brother and shook his head in mock exasperation.

"Hey, Lover-boy, ma wants you to call her."

"Damn, really? What she want, yo?"

"For you to talk English."

"W-What!? Why would you do such a thing and not tell me!? Answer me!"

Sora looked over at Aerith who had a hand to her mouth and his Father stepped away from the cabin. It was better he didn't get involved. Sora stared back at his Mother at Her shrieks and demands.

"...I changed it because of you."

"What? I didn't do anything! Was it because I forgot to mail you your allowance? My god, Sora, you can be so shallow sometimes. But don't worry, I still love you. You'll always be perfect in my eyes."

"Exactly! I changed it because you're the one who's shallow, Mother!"

Pffffft. What a loser!

Oh, and back in the day, I actually described eyes as orbs and black hair as 'raven.' Sometimes in the same sentence. That's how you know you're writing badfic, kids.

Fun Fact:

The first piece of fiction I ever wrote and uploaded to the internet -- in this case, ff.net -- was about two OCs having a conversation in an elevator. ...No, I'm serious; that was the synopsis. I did this when I was really young -- young enough to be so painfully naive and stupid. I had no idea how this website worked back then, so for the category I chose X-Overs. ...No, I'm serious. The girl was named Emily and the guy was named ... well, I don't remember.

Basically, it was this cliché, purple prose thing where the girl's mom was in the hospital after giving birth and how, "she couldn't wait for the 'thing' to get out of her." It was your generic I-hate-my-bitch-of-a-mom-angst-romance-story. And god is it shameful.
