Books
Too damn many to list, sorry.

Rudyard Kipling
"If"

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them, "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you
If all men count with you, but none too much
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Well, if you've come this far, and must consequently have either gone mad with boredom or were previously too mad to care about any further progression of your madness, you might as well keep going with this until your sanity has reached a point where straight jackets are too kind. Nah, just kidding. I'm not that evil. Yet.

Name: Just what it says on the tin. What, d'ya think I picked that penname for my health?

Gender: Try and guess. Really. I dare ya.

A little about myself, eh? I'm a teenager, I'm a martial artist, I used to be a pretty good basketball player, I have straight A's, I'm in Army JROTC, my algrebra teacher is crazy-nuts (I'm not kidding, seriously), I heart AF, my favorite meal is chicken nuggets with macoroni and cheese and about a glass full of Tobasco...hmm, what else?...Oh yeah, of course; almost forgot: I'm a writer, too.

Favorite Quotes:
Is that tough enough for you? Or are we going to have arm wrestle? - Captain Samantha Carter, Stargate SG-1, Episode 1.1 "Children of the Gods" (And before you ask, the only reason I love this quote is because, after watching all ten seasons and then watching the first episode again, it absolutely cracks me up when I see just how much Amanda Tapping's character changed. She was insubordinate, smart-ass, cocky, unrealistically feminist, sexy, and absolutely adorable!)

Imagine you're a deer. You're prancing along. You get thirsty. You spot a little brook. You put your little deer lips down to the clear blue water...bam! A fucking bullet rips off part of your head! Your brains are laying on the ground in little bloody pieces! Now I ask ya, would you give a fuck what kind of pants the son-of-a-bitch who shot you was wearing?! - Mona Lisa, My Cousin Vinny (and that accent! ROFL!)

Listen lady, I only speak two languages: English and bad English. - Korben Dallas, The Fifth Element (I luv that movie)

I don't have to do nothin' but stay black and die! - Joes Clark, Lean On Me

We messed up big time on Sunday. I had sponsors in the stands and I'm huggin' and holdin' hands and kissin'em in the ears and prayin' for a good showin'. And what do we do? We end up lookin' like a monkey fuckin' a football out there! - Tim Daland, Days of Thunder (good imagery, Tim!)

No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he rubbed you. And rubbin', son, is racin'. - Harry Hogge, Days of Thunder

Edward Cole: You're shitting me.
Carter Chambers: Cats beat me to it! - The Bucket List (best effin part of the whole movie, in my opinion)

Now, call me a prude if you want, but I don't think it's good policy for the Navy to hand over a billion-dollar piece of equipment to a man who has "Welcome Aboard" tattooed on his penis! - Rear Admiral Yancy Graham, Down Periscope

Don't think. Feel. It is like a finger pointing a way to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory. - Bruce Lee, Enter the Dragon

Real men are not intimidated by physical threats against their personal selves, and, ironically, neither am I. - Ernest P. Worrell, Ernest Goes to Jail

Ed Masry: What makes you think you can just walk in there and take whatever you want?
Erin Brockovich: They're called boobs, Ed. - Erin Brockovich

I'm in a man, I'm in a strange man - I'll be a son of a bitch - I'm in a strange man surrounded by strangers in a strange room! - Tuck Pendleton, Innerspace

Gracie: I would so love to hurt you right now.
Vic: As long as you smile. - Miss Congeniality

Eric: Just imagine that she's me and there's something you wanna know but I don't wanna talk about it. What would you do?
Gracie: You want me to beat it out of her? - Miss Congeniality

Happy endings are just stories that haven't finished yet. - Jane Smith, Mr. & Mrs. Smith

And a bunch from the bes effin movie of all time, Serenity: (if I could fit it here, I'd type out the whole damn script)

((As Serenity begins a fiery dive into atmo, a panel on the bow breaks off, flying over the cockpit's viewport))
Mal: What was that?
Wash: Did you see that?
Mal: Was that the primary buffer panel?
Wash: It did seem to resemble—
Mal: Did the primary buffer panel just fall off my gorram ship for no apparent reason?
((Serenity shudders.))
Wash: Looks like.
Mal: I thought Kaylee just checked the entry couplings. I have a very clear memory of it!
Wash: Yeah well, if she doesn't give us some extra flow from the engine room to offset the burn-through, this landing is going to get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define interesting!
Wash: "Oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: ((on the ship intercom)) This is the captain, we have a lil' problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight…turbulence, and then…explode. ((to Wash)) Can you shave the vector?
Wash: I'm doing it! It's not enough.
Mal: Just get us on the ground!
Wash: That part will happen pretty definitely.

Mal: Kaylee! Kaylee, what in the sphincter of hell are you playing at? We got the primary buffer panel coming right of—
Kaylee: Everything's shiny, Cap'n. Not to fret.
Mal: You told me those entry couplings would hold for another week!
Kaylee: That was six months ago Cap'n.
Mal: My ship don't crash. She crashes, you crashed her. - Serenity

Zoe: In the time of war, we would've never left a man stranded.
Mal: Maybe that's why we lost. - Serenity

Zoe: So…trap?
Mal: Trap. ((in the outtakes: TRAAAP!!))
Zoe: Are we going in?
Mal: Oh, it ain't but a few hours out.
Wash: Yeah, but, remember the part where it's a trap? - Serenity

The Operative: That girl will rain destruction down on you and your ship. She is an albatross, Captain.
Mal: The way I remember it, albatross was a ship's good luck 'til some idiot killed it. ((turns to Inara.)) Yes, I've read a poem. Try not to faint. - Serenity

River: Run-tse duh shang-dee, ching dai-whutzo! (MercifulGod, please take me away!) Make them stop! They're everywhere! Every city, every… every house, every room—they're all inside me! I can hear them all and they're saying nothing! Get up! Please get up! Wuo-shang mayer, maysheen, byen shr-to (I will close my ears and my heart and I will be a stone.)… Please, God, make me stone…
Jayne: She is starting to damage my calm… - Serenity

Mal: Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I’m asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything, I know this: they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, ten, they’ll swing back to the belief that they can make people…better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave.
Jayne: ((Taking a drink from a bottle of liquor)) Shepherd Book always used to say, "If you can't do somethin' smart...do somethin' right." - Serenity

Mal: It ain't all buttons and charts, little albatross. You know what the first rule of flyin' is? Well, I suppose you do, since you already know what I'm about to say.
River: I do. But I like to hear you say it.
Mal: Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. And love keeps her in the air when she oughtta fall down…tells ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keens…makes her a home.
River: Storm's getting worse.
Mal: We'll pass through it soon enough.
((As Serenity breaks atmo, a panel falls off the ship.))
Mal: What was that?
