Hey Everybody, I am Texas Longhorn, or just TL if it's easier. Truth be told, no one, including my family, has a clue I am still into Pokemon. I have basically been using these fics as an escape for the past year or so as an escape from my own hectic college life. I am not sure about much concerning Pokemon since I stopped watching the show at about twelve, immediately after the Silver Conference. Although I did not know it at the time, probably one of the big reasons I stopped was because of the exclusion of Misty from the storyline. I enjoy reading pokeshipping fics, playing the games, and watching old episodes from the show.

In case any of y'all are wondering, yes I am from Texas, and I am currently nineteen years old, attending the University of Texas at Austin as a sophomore. Hook'em horns!.

I do hope to gain some fans here, and I look forward to my time on this site.

P.S. Yes I do realize that it's pretty wimpy for a guy to write fanfics, but who are you to judge if you're reading them?

My favorite pairings:

Pokeshipping - This one needs no explanation if you read my little bio above. I'm a huge pokeshipper, and frankly I can't imagine either Misty or Ash winding up with anyone else. Sorry, but I won't read anything that pairs them together with other people.

Ikarishipping - In reality, I think that if the show were to pair Dawn with anyone, it would probably be Kenny, but frankly I think Kenny's a dork from the clips I've seen of him. I think that if Paul could develop a soul, then he'd be a pretty good match for the blue-haired coordinator. Also, I'm a fan of pretty much any ship that keeps Dawn away from Ash (since that's become so popular in the fandom...apparently for no reason).

Contestshipping - I've watched maybe two Hoenn episodes, but even I could tell that Drew and May were going to wind up together. I mean, she left Ash to go travel with the guy. In my opinion, it doesn't get a lot more obvious than that. Besides, I think it's good to keep the most annoying characters together.

Completed Works:

Make a Wish - I'm proud to announce that I finally completed a story after being an author on this site for over a year! Ha,ha. Actually, this is just a little one-shot that was inspired by a small moment I had with my (fairly) new girlfriend. It's alright, but it's the first true AAML one-shot I've ever written, so I expect that any future short stories I write will probably be better-written than this one. Still, give it a check-out, and if you like it drop me a review.

Current Works:

A New Journey - This one really needs no explanation. It's my main fic, and as of my most recent rewrite of its outline, is going to be about fifty chapters in length. I update every other week with (almost) no exception, so if you enjoy my work, then this is the story you most need to keep an eye on. I'm extremely proud of this story, as it's not only my first fanfic, but it's also the one which has garnered me thousands of readers and hundreds of pleased reviewers.

Pokemon Love - I haven't worked on this in so long, but that's really because all my free writing time goes towards "A New Journey" above. This story is just a collection of humorous one-shots that I'm working on concerning the literal hundreds of shippings out there in the pokemon fandom. I know the people who have favorited it probably think I've abandoned it forever, but I already have decided that once I finish "A New Journey", my serious fanfiction-writing days will be over (it's too much work!), so I plan on spending the rest of my days on this site adding more parodies to this fic, as well as writing some other one-shots for the pokeshippers out there who enjoy my work.

The Alphabet Challenge - I've seen this pop up on several of my favorite pokeshipper authors' pages now, and I've decided that I want to take it on as well. Basically, for every letter of the alphabet, you find an object whose name starts with that letter and tie it into an AAML short one-shot. I really like the idea, and frankly "A New Journey" sometimes becomes a burden to write, so I'll probably work on this off-and-on while continuing my bi-weekly updates with ANJ. Don't worry if you're a regular fan of my main fic, as I promise "The Alphabet Challenge" will simply be a creative outlet for me when I have some spare time, and as mentioned will have no hindrance on my update schedule.
