Hey :)

I'm a 19 year old girl who loves to write entirely for her own amusement, no matter how rubbish it may be. Thought it was about time to inflict my writing on the general populace for feedback and possible enjoyment/ probable censure.

I love reading and writing Harry Potter fanfiction, but most of the stories I've invented stay in my head. I'll try to get them down on paper instead of revising. My favourite books are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Gone With the Wind, the Twilight saga, Hitchhiker's Guide and about a million more I can't be bothered to list right now.

I'm at university at the moment but I would much rather live in my own little world where work did not exist. In case anyone cares I am tall, slim and have blue eyes. I am pretty smart academically but would much rather be good at painting and writing. Please read whatever I write if you have the time, and review. I'd love to be a writer so I'd appreciate any constructive comments (but don't crush my dreams). Thanks.

5/9/09 I usually would have updated by now but I'm having problems getting my files onto document manager atm, so the next chapter of Honour Amongst Snakes is a little delayed. I promise I'm working on the story, though, so I'll upadte more often to make up for the delay once the problem is sorted out.

11/10/09 My time for writing is very limited at the moment but I will give you a break-down of Narcissa's riddle to pass the time, mainly because I'm not sure it was very clear as I sort of suck at riddles:

What has two bodies but one single mind - as far as I know a foetus cannot think, but it does have a body, therefore technically this could be a pregnant person.

What is one and two and three combined - one = the baby, two = as above, three = the baby is sort of its parents (or parts thereof) and itself aswell.

What is nine, nineteen and also two - a time-y line: nine months, the full term of the baby, nineteen years(Narcissa's age in my fic, not canon actually, sorry), and two months (the current age of the foetus)

What is both, but neither me nor you? - The giveaway line. Made up of both, but a whole new person. This was sort of the theme of the riddle but I wasn't sure all the lines were very guessable so there you go! I came up with the idea and looked all over for a good riddle with the answer as pregnancy or baby, but I couldn't find one. I didn't want to relinquish the idea because I had already come up with a chapter based round it, so I had to do the riddle bit myself. I hope it's ok and if anyone has a better one I could substitute it...

Also while I'm at it I'm really horribly busy at uni at the moment so expect less frequent updates. A backlog of essays on top of lectures and a dissertation are limiting my free time, and I don't want to become a recluse just for you guys. I'll update when I can and hopefully have Honour finished by christmas so I can work on Angels, Demons some more.

3/12/09 Hey, I just deleted Arizona because I really hated that story in the end and I couldn't bear having it on this site any more. Apologies to anyone who was reading it or anything. Also I promise I will post the epilogue for Honour shortly, but I have a hugely busy end of term coupled with a total block about what to write so it may take a little while. Sorry for the wait.
