How is everyone doing? Frankly I'm indescribably happy about all the great responses I've been getting recently (and in the past...but recently has been particularly awesome). You guys are definitely giving me more motivation to keep writing (which, as I'm sure you know can get difficult sometimes). I have some problems that I'm trying to overcome, so writing has been even harder recently, but fanfiction is definitely helping with that.

Current Projects

Audrey's Prophet:

Audrey Green is a creative (sometimes horrible) cook, a lover of books, a hard worker...and frequently dirt poor. She has a cat named Graymalkin, and a best friend named Oliver Wood. Besides those two and Oliver's girlfriend Katie Bell, Audrey is typically fine keeping to herself. After all, she has a lot of work to be done if she wants to secure the position as the new editor of the Daily Prophet. When Audrey re-meets Percy Weasley she finds him amusing, but rather uptight. Percy thinks she's a mad, childish woman whom he'll never understand. First judgements are sometimes spot on, though that doesn't mean there isn't more to learn about the person. Meanwhile, the Wizarding world, particularly the UK, has been ravaged by the recent war. Audrey and Percy want to do their best to help, but they often get caught up in the what-ifs. Can they continue to support each other as they strive forward, or will they drive each other completely bonkers? (Well, perhaps the two aren't mutually exclusive).

This fic is currently 26 chapters long. If I had to guess I'd say there might be five more chapters until the finish. Won't you give it a try? (For some sketch fanart, go here).

The Potter Twins and the Sorcerer's Stone:

Chrysanthemum Potter understands her name is extremely long. She prefers to be called Chrys. Chrys accepts the fact that her growth is stunted, and her hair looks like a rat's nest. She knows she reads books that others might find boring, and has an incurable obsession with licorice. She thinks her brother Harry is the most foolishly kind, most stupidly reckless person on the planet. She loves him anyway. Then a gigantic man named Hagrid comes and tells Chrys that she is a witch. Harry is a wizard, and together they presumably defeated a dark lord at the ripe old age of two... So the twins are whisked away to the mysteriously inciting world of Hogwarts, the best school of magic. Of course they get into some trouble along the way (trolls and dungeons and such). Strangely enough they also make some friends. Chrys' comprehension flies straight out the window.

This is very much so a work in progress. I love the idea of Chrys as a character, but I'm struggling with the fact that I don't want to just rewrite the book without forcing something new out of the story. Anyway, yes I'll continue to work on this thing and hope for the best (while editing feverishly).

Domestication (An Avengers fic):

Bruce Banner is a literal mad scientist. He throws himself into his work whenever he gets a little upset...and when he gets too upset he turns into a giant green rage monster. Definite correlations between him and Misters Jekyll and Hyde could be drawn. Obviously a creature such as himself would never be safe around others. That's why Bruce keeps on the move. He never puts up roots, and shies away from the possibility of friends. Well, that was before he met Tony Stark. Oddly enough the metal clad super hero billionaire takes a liking to the poor doctor, and essentially says 'mi casa es su casa.' Bruce automatically decides to (politely) refuse. Only, Tony will not take no for an answer. Now what? Will Bruce be able to escape Tony's friendly clutches...or will Bruce warm to the idea of becoming a bit more domestic? Tony may be impossible, but Bruce is a stubborn man. He will not bend to the companionship of his Avenger team-mates. After all the Hulk is a big blockade in his way...or is he? Can the monster and the man be tamed?

So this is not a romance fic (though it does have hints of Pepperony and Clintasha). Tony flirts with everyone, as per nature, but I'm not planing on having him jump Bruce. That said, the bonds of friendship (oh geez, cheese much?) can be just as strong as any possible smutty goodness you may be seeking (though obviously it is another thing entirely). This is a hurt/comfort fic sort of thing, fueled by friendship and if I'm doing it right, 'humor.'

Okay then, my work (cough, shameless advertising, cough) here is done.
