Hi. I'm probably hell and gone from the demographic that Stephenie Meyer was shooting for when she wrote the Twilight novels, but at heart I'm still 16, and I really love the story, so I figure that makes it okay :)

I'm a technical writer by trade. Don't get the wrong idea - I write technical instructions, nothing very creative. I love how fanfiction allows people to endulge their imaginations - I wish I'd found out about it sooner!! I would much rather write novels, but I guess we can't all be Stephenie Meyer.

I'm married to a very sweet, patient man who does not understand my obsession with all things Twilight and reading/writing fanfiction. I do not understand his obsession with firearms and reloading ammunition. I mean, other than preparing for the eventual zombie invasion that we all know is coming, what is the purpose of owning more than one handgun? Man vs. Woman, Venus vs. Mars. I think we're even.

You should also know that I find humor in everything. I could not be serious if my life depended on it. I am sarcastic, irreverent, and will take any opportunity to make a joke. Even at a funeral. I use the phrase "That's what she said" a lot, probably more than is appropriate for someone my age.

I haven't written fiction since college, but after reading so many great stories on this site, I thought I might give it a shot. Please bear with me as I start exercising my rusty creative writing skillz.

I am Team Jacob all the way. When I started reading Twilight fanfiction, I was more Team Edward. But then I discovered Coming Full Circle by toooldforthis and Breathe Again by Ysar, and I was wholly converted. Can I get a witness? I read those stories every week, updated or not, because I love them so much. If you haven't read them and you are Team Jacob, YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST! RIGHT NOW! Hell, even if you aren't Team Jacob, you need to read them!
