Author has written 23 stories for Legend of Zelda, Ben 10, Ironman, and Mario. Colleen here. I'm not a magnificent writer but that doesn't make me love it any less. I'm 16 years old, female, slightly introverted... you know, the works. I change my profile like 295798 times a day. Huh. The photograph I use as my avatar was taken sometime in November 2012. My favorite books (seems relevent to writing) are the His Dark Materials series (Phillip Pullman), Harry Potter (JK Rowling), Lord of the Rings (JRR Tokien), and a selection of classic works by the Bronte sisters, Jane Austen, John Steinbeck (THE GRAPES OF WRATH OMG) and- of course- Charles Dickens. I'm an avid shipper in many different areas. SUE ME. I guess I should list my fandoms so here you go: Games: Legend of Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, Metroid, Paper Mario (but only a little), and of course I've been a fan of Super Smash Bros. since the very beginning, although I don't quite know whether people write fanfiction for that or not... (seems probable.) TV Shows: Sherlock. SHERLOCK. Glee (gah, I'm a closet fan...), Doctor Who (to an extent), DOWNTON ABBEY. YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE I LOVE YOU ALL. OH AND HAVE I MENTIONED SHERLOCK. Music: Mumford and Sons (THEY ARE PERFECT), the Lone Bellow (this one still confuses me), Vienna Teng ("Eric's Song"), the Swell Season ("Fantasy Man"), the Beatles, Blind Pilot ("Half Moon" and "We are the Tide"), the Shins ("Simple Song"), Snow Patrol ("Chasing Cars," "Called out in the Dark"), a myriad of video game music, the Doctor Who theme (DOO-WEEEEEEEE), UMMM... I just like a lot of music. Oh, and bagpipe bands. HAVE I EVER TOLD YOU ABOUT MY LOVE FOR STARKID WELL I LOVE STARKID ...anyway... And God forbid I forget the obligatory shippings panel: LoZ: Basically Ganondorf and Zelda because I like to swing the love triforce the other way, and Jolene and Linebeck because GAH. Link and Malon because it's got potential and Talon endorses it, so why the heck shouldn't we? And as far as Twilight Princess goes, Link can be shipped with a.) Midna because that's a love story right there, b.) Ashei because it just WORKS, c.) Telma because... fooled you? No? THE LIST GOES ON. And then I stick Ilia with Shad 'cause I'm a total goob, and I ship Medli and Komali because it's impossible not to, and sometimes when I'm in the mood my Pipit/Karane feels go through the roof, so on and so forth... Glee: Klaine. Um. That's it. That's the only reason I watch Glee. For the Klaine. (EDIT: THEY BROKE UP AND NOW I'M CRYING FOREVER.) (EDIT #2: THEY ARE PLATONIC??? I SMELL BULLSHIT) Doctor Who: DOCTOR AND ROSE. ROSE AND DOCTOR. OTP RIGHT THERE. DON'T TOUCH ME DON'T TALK TO ME. Downton Abbey: This one's tough. I'm going for EVERYONE X EVERYONE. (EDIT: Matthew... you little shit...) Sherlock: BASICALLY EVERYTHING. Sherlock and Irene, Sherlock and John, Sherlock and Molly, Sherlock and Mrs Hudson, you name it, I ship it, IT'S NOT HEALTHY. Paper Mario: Dimentio and Tippi. Don't try and talk me out of this one. Well I've run out of personal things to rant about so I guess it's onto business... WHAT I DO HERE ON THE SITE: I'm a beta reader, which means you can hire me (for free, obviously) to edit your stories. This could be as simple as proofreading. On the other hand, if you want me to, I can ramble till the cows come home. I have a lot of ideas... in my brain... I'll beta for whatever fandom, I don't care to be honest. I'm just glad to be helpful. I'm a generally busy person so if it takes me a long time to get back to you or your stories, please don't be offended. I'm just occupied. And if I read the beginning of your story and leave lots of reviews only to drop off of the face of the earth, it's not that I lost interest. Like I said, I either don't have time or don't have much to say, so... I update irregularly. In other words, my updates tend to appear in the wee hours of the morning when NOBODY'S on the internet. Which is kind of a shame. I don't read a lot of fanfiction but when I do, I almost ALWAYS leave a review. You should, too! It helps the author to develop as a writer and helps you to get involved in the community. Works in Progress: My Roof, My Rules: Link, Ashei, Shad, and Ilia take the spotlight as their shenanigans lead from one thing to the next. They live together in Telma's bar 6 months after Twilight Princess... things never seem to go well. Not to mention the awkward attractions they hold for each other due to an unfortunate case of hormones. Status: In progress, going strong. Expect continued updates. Pages of the Past:This is Mike Morningstar's backstory from a very young age. Co-written with Ms. Indecisive, this story explains how Darkstar became the man he is... his insanity doesn't deserve to go unexplained. Status: In progress... although this update is quite overdue. A Sailor's Song:Linebeck writes a book about Jolene in the hopes of reconciliation. Jolene sends him letters, but they never arrive. All they want is to reunite after years of turmoil. In the midst of it all is Jolene's sister, Joanne, whose actions lead Jolene to become suspicious. A storm is brewing on the horizon... Status: Updated annually. LOL. Regain, Revenge, Reconcile:I have no idea what this is about anymore but I can promise you that it is DISCONTINUED. SO REALLY, the only thing I'm working on right now is MRMR. Check it out! Completed Works: Flowers Don't Grow in the Desert: Zelda and Ganon meet at a young age. Ganon is raised in Hyrule Castle like he is part of the family. As they grow up together they fall in love, but society is not ready to accept this strange union. Many obstacles stand in their way, including a rude aristocrat, a greedy desert queen, and a man named Link who swears that he, Zelda, and Ganon all met before in a past life... one that ended when Zelda sent them all back in time. (Post OoT) Status: Complete. Recommended fanfics: Dalton by CP Coulter is my #1 recommended fic of all time. Along the same lines is Ocarina of Time by Norkix (recently started, I am helping to beta this story,) and anything by any of my favorite authors or anything in my favorite stories. Icearrows1200 writes pretty groovy fics if you're into Linebeck, and if Iron Man suits your fancy hop on over to Thatpersonwhoisthatperson's page, she has a few stories she's compiled over the years that will probably make you d'aww. Zelda writer Anithene has a beautiful assortment of work, Luck Kazajian has a neat story called Path of a Hero that I'm enjoying so far. Also, check out Mirrors by Bladespark- just so unique, so interesting! Um, if you like Ganondorf and Zelda, read Tainted Blood by Seldavia. It's one of my favorite fics on the site at the moment.
