It dates back to the vampire wars from the south, every thing is from Jasper's P.O.V. When Maria askes him to destroy a certain newborn that he's gotten fond with he strikes back at her. I don't really know where it goes from there cause I just thought of this. Excerpt:

Jasper's P.O.V

I looked Maria in the eye when she told me what I have to do.

"I have to kill her. But she's doing fine! She hasn't gotten into any fights with the others and she is just a bit past the year mark. Can't we just keep her and see what happens!

Maria looked at me and shook her head doubtfully. " I can't let you have more slip through your fingers Jasper. After you let your friend Peter and that girl Charlett(sp) get away I'm starting to doubt you and your capabilities. Now go and do it before I change my mind and destroy you along with her!"

Mithrim, Eragon Fanfic:

It takes place after Eldest. It's made in third person so there is no P.O.V to get confused with at all. After the big war on the Burning Planes Eragon gets a message from one of Nasuada's men saying that there have been reports of a new dragon rider. A tired and slightly angry Eragon goes to confront Nasuada about it. When he reaches her tent there is treachory abound; The tent is on fire and Elda and Nasuada have barely escaped with their lives. But after this Nasuada is now compleatly sure that Eragon must find this new rider to win them over, she hands him a map of where the dragon was last sighted. Dras' Leona. The journey begins from there as Action, Adventure, and Love all begin anew.
