Trapped in an Asylum

Trapped in an asylum I go

Patients come and go.

Doctors try to please.

While others scream.

I just hope you hear my silent plea.

We are confined to four walls

One room to collect our thoughts

One bed to lie and die as we please

One window so we can see all our broken dreams

While we cut our wrists until we bleed.

Psychotic girls pass me by everyday

While suicidal boys keep to their razor blade kits.

They cry in the night but cut themselves every time.

Vile rises in my throat

Sobbing kisses try to heal it though

Wondering when I will escape the hell that I face.

We live our lives from the nine to five pace

And you wonder how bad that tastes.

4 o'clock therapy session to seal our fate

It's seven o'clock by then were so dead you'd think it was fake.

The guards burn our bodies to hide the evidence of our sullen state

By then it's just too late and our poor souls can't be saved

We fight the urge to attack cause the strait jacket is where we will end up next

The solitude is insanity but how do we fight off an invisible opponent

The constant frightening scene plays in my head

The doctor injects the sedative in our systems instead

Raging against the needle is not the best idea.

We fight an endless stuggle

We try to escape but the brutal guards bring us back again.

They bring us back to our confined prison

Trapped in an asylum I go

Patients come and go

While other screams

I just hope that you hear my silent plea.

We sink to the bottom and cry

While others just drown and die

We keep to ourselves

We survive on our own

No one is a friend here but just an enemy

They say

Misery loves it's company

But who's there to say that we are the one's to blame.

Doctors try to please but all I hear is screams

I know it's kinda depressing but no i'm not depressed just have a twisted mind and here's a taste of it :D
