And that was how I found FF, so thank the lovely girls there, shall we?

PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH SOME FANFICTIONS:

1. Why is Tanya always the evil witch that wants Edward, or his ex girlfriend, wife, etc.? SM put her in the books to be a nice girl who wanted Edward a really long time ago. She's the vampire Mike Newton. It just gets on my nerves. I read one Fan Fiction that she was his friend and congratulated Edward on his relationship. Wow, how impossible, I know. If I put her into any of my work, she'll be like that.

2. Spelling and proper grammar!

Gosh, I hate when people spell wrong. Sure, I have a few flubs, everyone does. Keyword(s?): A few.

Example:

Right:

Edward and Bella were out on a walk and she fell so she saved her. (One mistake. Do you get the general idea? Yes.) She kissed him and he smiled at her.

Wrong:

Edwrd an Bella wre out n a wakl and hse flle so he savd her. She kisst hm andh e smiled at er.

No. Stop that. You have to read that so slowly to find out what the hell was being said.

Another thing: Dialogue. Every time a new character speaks, you start a different paragraph.

Example:

Right:

"Hey, Bella," Mike Newton said.

"Hi, Mike, what's up?" Bella asked with a friendly smile.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go out to the movies with me?" His voice was hopeful.

"Sorry, Mike. I'm dating Edward, you know," Bella replied, matter-of-factly.

"Yes, she is," Edward came up and kissed Bella's forehead.

Wrong:

"Hey, Bella," Mike Newton said. "Hi, Mike, what's up?" Bella asked with a friendly smile. "I wanted to know if you wanted to go out to the movies with me?" His voice was hopeful. "Sorry, Mike. I'm dating Edward, you know," Bella replied, matter-of-factly. "Yes, she is," Edward came up and kissed Bella's forehead.

Isn't that more difficult to read? I was confused just writing it!

3. Get your facts right!

If you're doing something, put effort into it to get the information correct.

I once read a FanFiction that said a mondo sized back piece tattoo took an hour to complete. Uh no. It would take ages more that an hour - probably like 10 and in different sessions.

And pregnancy: a baby won't come out after two pushes and weigh 10 pounds. Wtf?
