You suddenly find yourself in a haunting garden, with a beatiful crimson waterfall casting its sparkling veil down a sheer black mountainside. Exquisite red birds with long flowing black tails sing a song of tragedy, betrayal, isolation and pain. However, they also sing a song of rebirth and newfound love. This garden is like no other, you think to yourself. As you approach the waterfall, you see a young girl in a blood-and-shadow dress. She has striking deep green eyes with wavy brown hair. "Hello there, I'm pleased to meet you." She says with a warm smile. You are unable to reply immediately because her voice and presence catch you offguard. She smiles again, your uneasiness subsiding. Somehow, she feels familiar. That smile, those eyes, that voice... She offers you a black-stemmed rose, however the petals are pure white, as white as newly-fallen snow. A movement behind her. You gasp quietly. Wings? The glossy black feathers catch what little light strikes them. A red spark catches your eye. Within the black feathers, red is found closest to her body, as if her blood stained them that color. Trying not to be rude, you take the rose and wince in pain quickly. "Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you about the thorns." She apologizes quickly, looking concerned. "Nah, I'm okay. Its just a small cut." You say, not wanting her to feel too badly for just a little uncomfort. "I'm sorry, but you must leave now." She says, sadly. "Huh? How come?" You just got here... "You've been here long enough. I can't bother you to say any longer. Take the rose and remember me...please." She states, obviously distraught. You nod. "Very well, thank you for coming to visit me in my world of shadows." "No problem! It's nice here..." You say, looking around. The place certaintly has a dark charm to it. She smiles sadly, that haunting expression staying in your mind. "Farewell, I hope we meet again someday." @->- You slowly open your eyes and look around. The familiar walls and posters and window greet you. You sit up quickly, was that a dream? Where am I? How'd I get back here? Where's that girl...? You smile. Stupid, it was just a dream. You turn to see what time it is and stop short. On your pillow lays a single white-petaled rose. | |||||||
