Hello everyone reading this! I am new to fanfiction in general. One day I just decided to check it out, particularly Harry Potter fanfiction because I heard about 'shipping' and that the actor for Lucius Malfoy in the movies got a kick out of reading the real far out stuff. Maybe at some point soon I will start writing my own stories as I have a lot of ideas. I want to become a video game designer and this may just be a helpful outlet for coming up with stories and scriptwork. Needless to say, I love fantasy and Harry Potter is my favorite universe for it.

Name: ArcaneMaverick -- I put this name together because that's what I believe I am. Arcane means secret and Maverick means being an individual with different beliefs than most others, not the animal. I hope it doesn't make me sound like I have a messiah complex tho. My social environment kinda made me think this about myself. Also, I am a HUGE Megaman fan, particularly of the X series where X fights robots called Mavericks. I think Maverick is a cool word regardless.

Gender: male (though I'm very aware of one's social identity).

My interests include swimming (or any water sport really), VIDEO GAMES (my intended career) and a psychological theory call self-actualization by Alfred(?) Maslow, Lots of non-mainstream music among other things. Like I said above, I am a great Megaman fan and one of my dreams is to make the greatest(actually good) Megaman X game to date.

I attend college and will be majoring in Communication Arts. Will be married to my girlfriend soon(We are rather young, but we can do it anyway. Its all about loyalty, trust and communication).

Anyway, since I started reading HP fanfiction I really came to realize that Harry and Hermione is a much better match for a romantic relationship that what is canon. I do think that the books turned out fine and I wouldn't change them, but really, in a true relationship Ron and Hermione are a failure. And Ginny did seem to come out of nowhere. Another Harry Potter ship I like is H/Tonks! I don't reallly know why either, but I like the funny flirting situations. Although I don't quite like when they just admit they both have had feelings for each other since forever.

I will use this space to flesh out my ideas for games as well as other stories I want to tell. Megaman, Harry Potter, and other things.

I wanted to add that I HATE when people ABANDON things or don't update for a long time without any word whatsoever! It's just irresponsible and unfair to the readers! At the very least a writer should do a final section that details why they can't continue and what they had in mind for it in the future if they could write it, you know and reveal the mysteries and twists that they couldn't get to.
