Thank you so much to everyone who has reviewed here! (And no, I'm not dead! But I just finished my Master's degree a couple of weeks ago, and due to the related work involved in that, haven't been able to work on fanfiction.) As of today - Checkmate has had over 26,000 hits since chapter 8 was posted, and has 697 reviews. Huge hugs to all of you for that! 6/15/2006: Wow. Checkmate has been finished for 2 months now and I can't say thank you enough to everyone for their incredible response, reviews and lovely words about the ending, or the story as a whole. Checkmate has over 319,000 hits and just passed 1500 reviews. THANK YOU ALL SOOO MUCH! 1/8/2007: Now that Checkmate is finished, I may not be posting as much here, especially since I've mostly been doing fanart, but I am very active with the HP community on LiveJournal.
