Author has written 2 stories for Labyrinth. I'm really terrible at these About Me things... I started out writing Inuyasha fanfics years ago (a fandom still dear to me, but one I probably won't write for, anymore...). Now, I mostly write original Romance and Fantasy stories at FP and AFF. Until a year or so ago, I was a closet Labyrinth fan, who mostly trolled around eating up every word of other's fanfics. The story I have posted here is my NaNoWriMo from last year, which at first was supposed to be just something easy to do, but in the end turned into something bigger. I figured I have 50k words for it, I might as well do something with it besides let it collect cyberdust... Randomness: My screen name is pronounced SeeYou-kid and comes from the nickname of the town I live in. I love watching scary movies in the dark by myself--but none of this Paranormal Activity stuff...I mean more like Darkness or Tale of Two Sisters or Event Horizon...zombie movies are good, too. My friends think I'm a bit odd because I like the way books smell and the phrase "too many shoes" completely baffles me. These Aren't the Stories Your Grams Told You (Fairy/folk tales referenced in What's Past is Prologue): The Sun, Moon, and Talia, The Young Slave, The Snow Queen, Snow White and Rose Red, Little Red Riding Hood, Tam Lin -- Easy version if, like me, you have a hard time reading poetry, Tam Lin Melody -- For those who'd like to hear the melody of the ballad, performed on the dulcimer and kind of amazing! | |||||||
