About Us

Hi, M and A here. As you've probably guessed, we're two Phantom fans of most versions and are also best friends. We're also both horse mad and have both been riding for just over 3 years, although we go to different stables. We decided that we should create a fanfiction account together, because we're both good at different aspects of writing and there's less chance of us both getting writer's block at the same time! Our age is for us to know only, but we are only teens, so we are aware that our stories may not be as good as a lot of the adult writers here, but that's why we're here, to improve. Feel free to leave constructive criticicm, we won't be offended. The versions of Phantom we have both seen/read are Leroux, 1925, 1989 cartoon, 1990, 2004. M has also seen 1962, has the OLC (long live Michael Crawford!) and saw the stage show last August (Ramin Karimloo is the Andrew Lloyd Webber phantom).

M loves all versions, that she's seen so far, except the 1962 version. She really did not like that. Apart from that, she adores watching them all equally. The 1990 Charles Dance Erik is the only movie which has made her cry in the last 5 or so years. She also found it the funniest version, with Eriks's good sense of humor and being able to see Carlotta get her due punishment. She is contemplating getting Kay's Phantom and is very excited to be seeing the stage show live for the first time in summer. As a person, M is quiet and shy with those she doesn't know and doesn't like to offend anyone. Once you do know her though, watch out! She has been described by firends as quite morbid. Her sense of humor, as described by a friend in a French lesson, can be quite blunt and sarcastic, although she does have a warped side of her humor too.. She also finds it odd to be writing her section of the profile in third person. Good practise for any future Leroux stories, she guesses.
Like many Phantom fans, M is a musical person who plays flute, piccolo and a tiny bit of piano and guitar. M has just done her grade 4 flute exam and is very anxious to find out if she passed or not. Her piccolo standard is just a bit below her flute standard, but they don't do grades for piccolo, unfortuantely.
Her favourite Erik is Leroux's Erik. She likes writing little Leoux one-shots when she has the time. In fact, there may be a new one fairly soon...

A also loves all the versions of Phantom she has seen/read. She thinks both the 1990 and 2004 movies were very good for different reasons. Her favourite Erik was Gerik (Gerard Butler's Erik) but is now Ramin Karimloo (ALW Erik), closely followed by Charles Dance's Erik. She finds Gerik very good as Erik (it helps that he's cute of course...lol), but thinks that Charles Dance's Erik is funnier and has a very good sense of humour. Leroux Erik is also cool but he creeps me out a little... P.S. Ramin Karimloo ROCKS!

As a person, she is strange and very random, though she is often shy and quiet around strangers. She is known to be a little violent at times (watch out), and has a very warped sense of humour. As with M, she finds it strange to write in 3rd person. A does most of the actual writing while M gives her the plot and edits what she has written. A is currently working on chapter 8 of '8 Months the Enemy' and has just finished 'Reflections'.

Our Stories

A Moment in Time- Our first fic based off the 1990 version. Based on what may have happened had the gun not gone off and Erik was taken prisoner. Currently on hold.

8 Months the Enemy- Our second fic we are working on. Based on the 2004 movie, it's alternative ending to the swordfight and continues with a whole host of other events.

Beyond Words- A one shot written by M. It was originally a piece of school work where we had to write a scene from another character's point of view, but it's been adapted for here.

Reflections - A Les Miserables one shot written by A. Enjolras as a child.
