Author has written 24 stories for Twilight. Let's see, I'm a thirty something mother of four kids from Arizona who fell in love with Twilight. Everything about it drew me in. I had heard of it and thought it was like the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you know - human girl falls in love with vampire boy. I'd seen it, I didn't think it could be done better than the show, so I avoided the books. Then a friend dropped Twilight off at my house one day, and in an effort to be nice, I read it. That day. I had NEVER read a book that big in one day. But I did, then I read it again the next day. I then showed up on her doorstep holding the book, only to hear her say, "Oh, you didn't want to read it?" to which I replied, "Oh, I've read it twice already and was on Amazon ordering all of them last night! Now give me the next two books since my order won't be here until next week!" Lucky for me Breaking Dawn was coming out that night so after flying through the next two books over the weekend, I rushed to the store Monday morning and bought it. I couldn't wait for that stinking Amazon order. :) If someone had only told me that Twilight wasn't Buffy, it was the tv show Roswell, I would have read it the second it was published! :D Then a discussion with my friend about Edward in Breaking Dawn and our disappointment about not knowing how things went between him and Bella (ehhm, in those scenes) led her to mention fan fic and that thanks to several stories, she knew exactly how things would go. :D I started reading and was hooked!! Sometimes now I can't even remember what actually happened in the book and what happened in a fan fic story. Pitiful, I know. My friends and I discuss our favorite stories at length and can't get enough of them. Then when they started talking about trying to write some stuff of our own, I was a little hesitant. I don't do that. I never have. I get way too lost in details and am not imaginative enough to come up with stories. But, I thought I'd give it a whirl, so here we are. Things you should know about me - I hate to read. Honestly, I don't like it. The past few years have been crazy, I don't know what's come over me! I like to talk. You'll find that out soon enough. (Diet doesn't count, I want sugar!) My favorite color is green and my favorite number is 13 and I have a thing for tattoos. Someday I'll get one but I gotta draw it first. I don't care about shoes or purses or clothes or any of that other girlie stuff. I love Robert Pattinson with a love like no other. I usually refer to him as The Boy or My Spunk. I get tingly looking at pictures of him and I drool hearing his voice. I think if I was ever in the same room as him, I would most likely explode. Or throw up. Either way, he would remember me. My favorite tv show ever is ALIAS, but I also love Roswell, Veronica Mars, My So-Called Life, Friday Night Lights, and Lost. My favorite movie is Dirty Dancing. I wanted to be Baby, and I kind of was, in that sheltered-sweet-girl-falls-for-rough-boy sort of way. I love my Girlies. I adore them. Almost as much as The Boy. I have TONS of awesome fics in my favorites list, so check them out! My favorite book of the series is Eclipse, followed VERY closely by New Moon (which has my favorite quote in it), then Twilight, and finally Breaking Dawn. I didn't mind the ending. It didn't turn out the way I thought it would, but I was happy with it. They lived happily ever after, and that's all I wanted for them My favorite fan fiction Edward is in the stories Art After 5 and Counterpoint, both by sleepyvalentina. She is an amazing writer and I love her stories. But that Edward holds my heart. He's so sweet and innocent, yet still sexy and a typical teenaged boy. I call him a teenaged man because that's what he is. But I also love me some Fightward from the story Shadowboxer, by nobloodnofoul. Uhhh, hot, sexy, fighting Edward... How could you say no to that? Plus he's sweet and broken. Yeah, I kinda like him. I'm also in LOVE with ItzMegan73 and everything she writes. Honestly, do yourself a favor and read anything and everything by her. You won't be sorry. One more amazing author that I've fallen head over heels for is Rochelle Allison. Oh my...her stories are SO wonderful. Her story Starry Eyed Inside is one of the best stories I've ever read. I love it... :) I hope you like the story dribble I type out and post here for you.
