Hello there!

I am a stay-at-home mom to three of the most awesome kiddos on the planet. I have almost seven-year-old twins (boy/girl) and a four-year-old daughter. They keep me busy to say the least. My oldest daughter is special needs and has taught me more than just about anyone on the planet.

On Easter morning 2010, my oldest daughter passed away unexpectedly from MRSA Pneumonia. I can't believe how much time has passed since I lost my precious angel. It still feels very surreal. Not a second goes by that I don't miss my baby girl and ache for her presence.

I am committed to finishing this story and will do so in as timely a manner as I can. While I am ever grateful to you who read, please understand my moods aren't always conducive to writing. I'm still taking each day as it comes because really, that's the only thing I know to do. Just know that I will update as often as I can, but can't commit to any type of posting schedule. Some days, I can't even commit to getting out of my pajamas.

Words cannot express the depth of my appreciation for all the lovely PM's from so many incredible people. I feel so blessed to be a part of this awesome fandom - it has been a huge support system during this difficult time. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you for your patience, your readership and your shoulders that you have so graciously allowed me to lean on.

My Twilight addiction started in the Fall of '08, when a friend suggested I give it a go after my umpteenth time through the Harry Potter series. I pretty much left Hogwarts for Forks and haven't been back since. I still love Harry, I just love Edward more.

As we all know, one addiction begats others, and I remember very distintcly when I entered the world of Twilight Fanfiction. While I waiting in line at the Twilight DVD release party, the girl in front of me asked if I'd ever read fanfic before, which I had not. The following words changed my life: "Oh my God! You have to read Wide Awake by AngstGoddess003! It's amazing!" I took her advice, googled Wide Awake, and my fanfic cherry got popped.

I am a full-on junkie now and I have no problem with this at all.

The hubs is a good sport 'cause he knows if I stumble on a good one, he's gonna get some.

So, I entered the Indie TwiFic First Time Writer's Challenge with my little o/s "Don't You Wanna Take a Ride With Me?". What has been absolutely amazing (and surprising as hell) is the response for me to turn this into a full story. When I wrote it, I just sort of put it in a little box and never thought beyond that. The most challenging thing has been deciding what in the bloody hell to do with this thing. So, after a lot of encouragement and even more hand holding by some ladies who mean more to me than they could ever imagine, I know where I'm gonna steer this ship. I hope you like what I have planned. Please be patient with me. It's new territory for me to be wielding the pen and I am neurotic as hell.
