Hello there!

I'm in my 30s, living in Oklahoma, like to garden, fish, hunt and read. I'm also big into science fiction, fantasy and supernatural fiction. I've written off and on for the past 10 years, but I'm new to the FanFiction site. My previous readers were just friends. Mostly I write for myself. I get stories running around in my head, playing and replaying and trying this wording or that, and it can stay in my head clogging up my thinking for days. If I write it down though, it's out! Out, out of my head! Then I can think again.

I like morally grey, but even better I like a multiplicity of possible truths - where different characters have perfectly valid, true reasons for opposing one another. I like it when an author is comfortable just having a character be flat wrong about something without that making them a bad character or a fool. I like character development and stories with context - not so wild about AU and original characters.

I prefer grit to rainbows and dark to fluff, but I don't like my fiction too explicit. (I say this and probably my next story will feature something irredeemably graphic... Just a few weeks ago I thought slash and slash-cest was entirely off-limits and gross. Then... oh well. I can't control what gets into my head sometimes.)
