Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. I've actually written something, so I guess I can't say that I only read fanfiction. I'm a girl and a good student who is either a) in high school, b) in college, or c) both and I really have no idea why anyone would read this, but apparently, people do. So, more about me: I am very self-centered (as having a section about myself might indicate), I like chocolate, cats, play clarinet, hate History even though it's my best subject, and have no idea why politicians do the things they do. I also love books, some favorites are The Princess Bride, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, The Fencing Master, A Study in Scarlett, All Creatures Great and Small. This list could have gone on forever, but I'm feeling merciful. My two favorite fandoms are Babylon 5 and Harry Potter.u It really is a pity that Babylon 5 doesn't have more fanfiction because there is a lot of good quality stuff there and...it's B5, what else can I say? I love all the characters, except for (strangely) Sheridan. My favorites are: 1) Londo and G'Kar - they definitely have the most interesting story lines and, I think, are the two most in depth characters on the show. 2) Lyta 3) Bester "Ah, arrogance and stupidity wrapped in the same package. How efficient of you." "The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." "Much as it might offend their sense of perspective, not everything is about Babylon 5." Sheridan: So, how did you find out about all of this? "No dictator, no invader, can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against that power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free." "We learn by doing, and in the process you're going to fall on your face a few times... though I didn't think you'd take it quite that literally." Harry Potter...hmm...I'm a pretty big Snape fan and probably should say something in his defense. I've realized that doing that is quite difficult. The guy is nasty, unappealing, joined the Death Eaters, and is generally and all-around . He does end up doing the right thing when it really matters, though, and that makes him an incredibly fascinating character. While I'm on the subject, I'm going to voice my opinion and say that the whole unrequited love affair with Lily is ridiculous. If someone can explain to me why it makes sense, feel free to do so. If anyone wants to see a really excellent unrequited love plot arc, watch the last few episodes of B5, season 5. Okay, okay, I'm finished. Sorry about my unprecedented display of verbosity. | |||||
