Author has written 7 stories for Star Trek: 2009, and StarTrek: The Original Series.

Thanks to everyone for your interest and kind reviews. I enjoy history, art and sociology, modern literary fiction, Regency romances, Victorian-era and 20th/21st century literature from various countries, as well as genre fiction -- SF/F and romance, some mystery. I'm a big fan of the Nyota Uhura & Spock pairing in fanfiction, whether it is TOS or Star Trek:2009 (also described as the new Trek AOS). The S/U pairing & the Sulu fic are all I write due to time constraints. Sometimes I watch other films and TV (Scandal, Bones, and various UK-produced dramatic series) but I don't write fanfic for any others.

If you're interested in the chronology of Spock/Uhura stories posted here, it is as follows:

    • Please note that the timeline in these stories doesn't really relate to the timeline of "Star Trek: Into Darkness (STID)".

  • The stand-alone Lt. Hikaru Sulu fanfic story It's Not the Liquor Talking (WIP) takes place some time after STID, but is not linked to other stories although other Trek characters appear. Includes a deliberaty ambiguous OC.
  • TOS (The Original Series) Drabble: Unfastening (complete S/U drabble based on artist linstock's delightful altered image of Leonard Nimoy from the TV series 'Lock-Up' circa 1960.     • Please note that these stories are rated mature, for adult readers. Warnings: purple prose, erotic content, whimsical moments, high flying romance, Emo!Spock, sweetness and fluff. Entertainment for women.

    Real life has enough angst of its own; in my efforts to write fanfic I lean towards fluff and romance, with some subtle awareness of socioeconomic factors, ethnic/racial/class prejudice (because I must deal with it in real life as a Black American woman), & the things that may continue to divide (or to unite, let's be optimistic) people centuries from now. Let's keep working to make things better.
