hello!

I'm 17 (only for a couple more months!), I 'd like to go to Embry-Riddle next year but probably won't b/c my parents suck.

I don't believe in "true love" or "soul mates." What if your soul mate is some starving orphan in Africa? Or an old pedophile? Gross, right? And "true love"...read the news, or crime library, and you'll see countless stories of "loving" spouses killing each other..beating each other up...killing their kids. Grow up, the world isn't as bad as you think it is; no, it's worse. You could say I'm a realist, or rather, a cynical, bitter person, but really, I face facts. To believe in idealism without any doubts is retarded.

So, here's a little about my preferences. My favorite bands are AFI, Within Temptation, and Bullet For My Valentine. I'm a bit "dark" oriented in the world of music and literature. I love reading Tess Gerritsen, Lisa Gardner, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I also love J.R.R. Tolkein's LOTR. The Hobbit is my favorite book of all time but in the trilogy I like Fellowship of the Ring the most. My favorite LOTR movie would have to be Return of the King. I don't like the Harry Potter movies. They suck...I mean, the kids are cute, but they just effed the books over. Also, my favorite show is Criminal Minds. I got hooked when I was 15/16 and I just can't get enough. Matthew Gray Gubler is definitely my favorite actor, haha. I have a thing for his hair. I used to like CSI (Las Vegas) but now it's just...meh. I used to like Prison Break, not anymore. NCIS is okay. I don't really watch anything else except for Two and a Half Men...my other favorite schow.

In the Harry Potter Fandom:

Harry/Ginny is not my thing. I don't get why he would love her, they're like the most unromantic couple ever. She's a fangirl and his best friend's little sister...like come on.

Ron/Hermione is a retarded. Okay, I have "above average intelligence." And I hate talking to idiots. Plain and simple. I have friends that are idiots, but I tend to converse more with people who will actually understand the words I'm using. He's the idiot, she's the brainy one. Come on...where's the similarity?

But remember, just cuz I hate or don't like something doesn't mean I won't read it.

Another note: I'll read gay pairings. What I don't like is incest, huge age differences, and something else I'm forgetting. Oh well I'll remember later. I have nothing against lesbian stories but I don't really read it.
