Just so you're warned, I'm going to give you the short version of the story of my life. I'm depressed as hell. I was bullied for ten years, no one even fucking noticed, and I was too scared to tell anyone. Because I didn't think I mattered. I didn't think I was worth anything. I still rarely do. I was suicidal for five years. I cut for seven. The only reason I didn't kill myself is that I didn't want to cause any trouble for the people who would have to sort out things after my death. Throw out my things and plan a funeral. I wasn't worth enough for anyone to go through all that trouble because of me. And I think this is important to tell you because whatever I write, it somehow ends up being about depression and mental issues. So now you know why. That said, I suppose I should tell you that I'm better now. I'm seeing a therapist twice a week, and I have a whole of two friends. And three cats. They've helped a lot.
