Happy Thanksgiving! I'm late by 2 days, but someone give me condolences to Demetra for her wedding anniversary! Wow. This profile changes constantly. What to talk about now, ah yes. Artemis Fowl: I like book 5, but since it's publication, this entire site has been filled with romance. Really people, think of something different to write about than dating and Opal Koboi. Book 1: I can't really comment good or bad. For a favorite list, I'd say it'd be a tie between this and TEC. And after this book, Artemis contradicts everything he says after book 1. Book 2. Boring through and through. Least favorite. Book 3: It's okay. Book 4: Better, good, but not great. It's a good thing that Root dies. And the end was boring, until the last chapter, but the middle and the beginning were pure excitement. Favorite! Book 5: Good, but it gets annoying since Artemis is thinking about girls every other page. Second favorite. Book 6: Opal's in it again, and that's annoying. I like Opal, but, you know. Holly kisses Artemis, stupid and annoying, but appropriate. I just finished. It was okay, for favorite, see Books 1 and 3. Also, a lot of leftie things in it. I like Kronski the best in that book, and the evolutionist Zoo Keeper. And Book 7: Hasn't come out yet, but info was revealed in an interview. Artemis turns villain again, because he somehow winds up in prison in Atlantis with Opal Koboi, and Opal's trying to take over the world again, which is annoying; see Book 6, but this will be the last book she is in. I've also figured out the title of it. It's going to be called; The Atlantis Colplex Book 8: Also hasn't come out yet, but I know some details about it. Minerva will be in it, so yay! But yet, she's (I DONT' KNOW WHY) EC is going to make her interested in skiing. Artemis doesn't like Holly more than a friend.Holly used to have a slight crush on Arty, but book 6 changed that. Artemis, has a slight crush on Minerva, Minerva, has a slight crush on Artemis, but they haven't seen each other for some reason in months. So, Arty technically has no shipping by canon at the moment. And why is Artemis still 14 after 3 books? Come on, Eoin! He had best be 15 in the next one. It's good, but there is no full plot line to his Artemis Fowl. It's pointless. Each book has a separate plot, and gets annoying with Opal being in the current book, the book before the book before that, the book before the book before that, and has said in an interview with Eoin Colfer, the next book. Thank God he also said the next book will be the last book with Opal Koboi. God! That pixie is so annoying! Holly and Artemis There's a lot wrong with that Pairing, because Holly is A different species one that humans in the book evolved from. So in real life, that would be like me dating an ape, since we evolved from them. Minerva:Why does everyone hate her so much? I mean really, just how? Is it because of a/h, which is impossible? is it because of her personality?. WHY! And I don't like it when EC says, "And for once in his young life, he was wrong." No, in the entire series, he was wrong 7 times, and didn't know what to say or do over 30 times. His Dark Materials: I'm going to to stop reading it, because this book is atheist. God dies? What the crap? Percy Jackson and the Olympians: So far, I've only read the 2nd and part of the 3rd, (which, now that I'm done with Artemis Fowl; Book 6, I will read the rest of) and so far it seems good. I don't like canon writing for it for once. It's like the Arty Holly thing going on. P/AB just seems so, wrong to me. P/T is okay, but I wouldn't write it, I would have to say: P/T B/MS Canon of Greek Gods/Goddesses The Bartimaeus Trilogy: Good, but not the best. It's overall very confusing, and oddly, though I love the Lord of the Rings, I don't like the fact that both books skip from the present to the past. At least Lord of the Rings does it only for like, a day, with Bartimaeus Trilogy, it's like, 6 years! And humans knowing about the wizards? And Parliament being really just a bunch of magicians? And Mandrake dying at the end? That's a BIG slap in the face. Come on, people! In this section, I ship Jane Farrar/Nathaniel/John Mandrake. Inheritance Cycle: It's good, but it's really just a cheap rip off of The Lord of the Rings. Don't ship. Lord of the Rings: Good. A classic, the only the wrong with it, is that there is so little dialogue. Shippings must apply to canon. And, it is also very, very boring at times. Twilight: Pa-the-tic: It's horrible! Terrible...but, if I had a choice, B/E, A/J. Canon. InkHeart: Actually, I don't ship in this series fandom anymore(unless it's canon!)I like Dustfinger, but just 'single'. I think the book is good, but not great. The series, is okay as a whole, I like Inkheart the best. Maximum Ride:I have mixed feelings about this book. It's worth reading, but it can be pointless at times. Though, it's sometimes exciting, and sometimes and sometimes not humorous. The characters are like Artemis Fowl after book 1, they contradict every other word that comes out of their mouth after the first chapter and a half. Also, the series is pointless like Artemis Fowl, he's going no where, maybe he should have made the first book longer and with a different ending. It's also very liberal. James Patterson's own characters are OOC, and it's also atheist, and Green. Book 1: Good, but not great. Book 2: Okay. Book 3: Better than good, but not good enough to be qualified as great. Book 4: Why is it shorter than all the rest? Book 5: Why is it shorter than all the rest. Book 6: Hasn't come out yet, but I know it starts with "Fang; something something". Gulliver's Travels: One of my favorite books of all time. I can't say anything more than that. I liked the first part when Gulliver was the giant more than when he was small though. And by giant, I mean just compared to all of the citizens of Lilliput. The Wednesday Wars: Not good snough to be considered good, but not crappy enough to be considered bad. It's kindof like a, 1967 version of Romeo and Juliet with kids. Also, there are so many factors to the plotline, but most of them don't show up thatd, much. It's says it will, but it doesn't seem to. I hate books liek that. The Supernaturalist: I didn't like the ending, it was a little stupid, a little weird, and it made me cry. Now, the book, as most of Eoin's books, had no distinct plotline. The Supernaturalist II: "Well, the main idea is, well, at the end of book one, Stefan dies, but, being that they can see supernatural beings, in the second book, Stefan appears to Cosmo and tells him that they're all stuck in Limbo and can't get through to the afterlife, because something terrible is happening there, so it's an environmental thing as usual that's blocking the passageway to... forever, so they have to take care of that. But at the same time, they've got the Myishi Corporation trying to track them down," Eoin Colfer. The book has not been even started on, but this plot was released in the summer or 2009. Has anyone ever noticed that almost all of Eoin's books correspond? Eye of the Oracle: Good, but also slightly dark, and pretty weird for a children's book. | |||||||
