About Me

So I guess it’s about time I updated this thing.

I really hate writing about myself, I much prefer the guise of fiction.

I’m a pretty average 20-something year old woman. I have a deep love for literature and film which I indulge via FanFiction.

I’m always on the lookout for a new story to read.

I have a few stories up at the minute. Most of them were written years ago and aren’t as good as my more recent ones. Just warning you. (If you want a good impression of them, start with the most recently updated and work back.)

Seven Days to Home (Thor)

I have branched out into the realm of Marvel FanFiction. Seven Days to Home is an all-mortal look at the events of Thor. Loki Odinson meets Darcy Lewis only to discover that they are already linked by family and friends. He is the only man who has ever understood her and she is the catalyst in forcing Loki to deal with his past. But can it ever be anything more than that? Can two lonely souls find what they need in each other?

Going Forward (Harry Potter)

My new story is up! Going Forward is another time travel story, but with an original twist. I have only ever read one other fic where Remus travels foward in time and it was nothing like what I am planning.

Five Words and Just Say Yes (Harry Potter)

As often happens with me these two stories were written within days of each other, both after listening to songs by Snow Patrol. I don’t know why they made me think of Remus and Hermione, but they just did and so the stories were born.

Playing the Game (Harry Potter)

How I started Playing the Game is a complete mystery to me. I found the first few paragraphs in an old document and had no recollection of where I was going with the story except that I knew it was going to be Hermione and Sirius.

I have kept all the background details deliberately vague so that readers can imagine their own scenarios. I have given some little hints and will answer any reviews asking me for my imagined backstory.

As it happens I’m actually really happy with how the finished product turned out. I prefer writing longer stories but, for now, Playing the Game will remain a one-shot.

Geminus Terra (Harry Potter)

Geminus Terra is now completed. The story is a twist on the time-travel sub genre of Harry Potter fan fiction.

It is a Remus/Hermione time-travel fic (WAIT... don't give up yet!) with an original twist. I am not, repeat, not going to save Lily and James etc. This has been done well by many fanfiction authors, which is why I'm not going down that path. Instead, I am offering a look at what could have been if someone had known about the horcruxes when Voldemort was still weak. After being hit by a curse Hermione finds herself back in 1982 in the immediate aftermath of the war which claimed the lives of the Potters and magical history will be rewritten.

Thanks to theundyinglands Geminus Terra now has a banner. Being useless with computers I can tell you that I am seriously impressed with the skill!

Practically Married (Harry Potter)

I have also created a banner for Practically Married. I must warn you, it's not as good as the one mentioned above but it's okay. It gives you an impression of the characters and the story, at least.
