Before Naruto... there were...

Real Ninjas.

In ancient Japanese history, ninjas didn't have ninjutsu in the sense that Masashi Kishimoto portrayed. They called things ninjutsu, yes, but they consisted of water-breathing techniques using breathing reeds and camouflage techniques to avoid enemies. In ancient Japanese history, samurai didn't have jedi-swords--they followed a strict code of bushido and were under the command of their shogun or benefactor.

Imagine mixing these ancient Japanese groups with the current Naruto characters. With this, you get my future multi-chaptered fic :)

Currently untitled, I have come up with a plot that I'm interested in and allows me to flesh out my budding plot skills. Focused on Hinata, it won't be romance-oriented, but there will be hints. Right now, it's still in the planning stages and plotting stages, but as soon as I have time or hit a sudden burst of inspiration, I will be working on it.

I have set up a date for me to have the plotting or the first chapter done. Hopefully this will get me back up on my feet and help fight back against the groaning procrastinator in me :) So, if I don't have anything up by November 30th, please feel free to send me threatening messages :D

For some strange reason, I ended up writing something I hadn't even planned to. Ahh, well. I'm pretty sure that fans of crack won't mind :) I do believe I am one of the few writers who have written for the love triangle KakaHinaShika. It's rare and very cracky, but I think it really works. So with that thought in mind, I have created a collection of one-shots, drabbles, etc for it. Let's hope that readers aren't deterred by the strange triangle and find some enjoyment in my writing :)

About Me:

Lazy. Definitely. If there's an easier route to do something, you can bet that I'm using it. For example, if I've got my hands in my pockets, and I've got to open the door, I'll use my feet.

I'm not totally laid-back, but I am pretty relaxed.

I believe in equality. There is no better than somebody or anything of the sort.

I like food in general. That's probably why I always watch the Food Network. Great channel, seriously.

Basketball and volleyball are great sports. Working out is always fun and I always try to better myself at swimming.

Respect is key. I hate disrespect, but I'm not above giving it if someone doesn't deserve it, or I'm just too lazy to use my manners.

I love my family. We have so much fun together. And I'm talking about my extended family.

Kids are hilarious. 'Nuff said.

Dislikes in fanfiction:

--Mary Sue OC's. The ones where they're like some hot, mysterious, unhuman being who is super strong or whatever and has all the guys fighting amongst themselves to get her. Bleh.

--Super-strong, over-powered characters. Everyone has their faults, so when a character mysteriously overcomes every obstacle in his/her path easily, it's irksome to read.

Strongly Disliked Pairings:

My least favorite character has to be Sakura, because... I just have an annoying urge to strangle her, lol. No offense, Sakura fans, because I can definitely see the potential and goodness in her, despite her tears and blinding love for Sasuke; it's just that... I dislike her.

Anyways, I hate her with my favorite guys with Hinata, most especially KakaSaku. Bleckk.

Naruto will be the primary fandom I will be writing for. The cast of characters leave so much room to build on and stuff, plus a lot of my favorite characters come from that particular manga.

My two favorite characters have to be Hyuuga Hinata and Hatake Kakashi. Hinata has that innocence to her and that untaintedness, despite her lonely and abused childhood. She has the potential to become so strong, yet she still manages to retain her own purity.

Kakashi is that genius with the troubling and dark past. There's this deepness to him, this utter solemnity to him. Maybe it's from reading too many angstKakashi fics, but he has that sadness in him that's so painfully heart-wrenching. He's so interesting and mysterious at the same time.

...Maybe because they're my favorite characters is the reason why I love them together so much. In fanfiction, there are so many ways to write this pairing--as a teacher/student forbidden relationship in AU fics, or as older adults and slowly developing feelings... They don't balance each other out... no, it's more like... they complete each other. Their differences meld together, creating a mismatched picture of beauty and innocence.

I also like the lust in their relationship. I don't know why. Usually, I don't like lust being the main component of a relationship, but with these two... it's just incredibly sexy. With the lust comes another side to it, though, a more caring side. Sure, lust will blind them for a bit, but how can Kakashi resist Hinata's innocent charm? And how can Hinata not notice the hurting man inside?

But then again... maybe I'm just reading between the lines too much and seeing things... =)

Blind Dates, True Love:

Sasuke's advisors wants him to get married before he becomes the president of the Uchiha company, so they set him up blind dates with wealthy, well-known girls from prestigious families. He blackmails Kakashi to go to the blind dates and ruin them in his place. What happens when Kakashi accidentally falls for the one girl Sasuke can actually stand? Kakashi/Hinata/Sasuke

Ehh, Untitled:

An Obito/Hinata fic. It's weird, I know, but if he was still alive, I think that there would be total potential. This fic will be about Hinata getting sent back into time somehow. I think I'll just use Kakashi's Kamui Sharingan to do that. Well, anyways, a thirteen-year old Hinata goes back in time and meets Kakashi and Obito a few weeks before Kakashi's jounin promotion. Hinata falls in love with Obito and vice versa, while younger Kakashi has a small crush on her.

Courtly Matters:

Fairy tale one-shots/two-shots that each have different Hinata pairings, like KakaHina, SasuHinaNaru, ShikaHina, etc. I'm hopelessly addicted to fairy tale stories, so this is an outlet for the strange, the weird, and the... fantastical.
