Author has written 40 stories for Pokémon, Star Wars, Monster Rancher series/モンスターファーム, Tenchi Muyo, Dragon Ball Z/Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Ice Age, Ninja Turtles, Harry Potter, Discworld, D.Gray-Man, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Kyo kara Maoh!/今日からマ王！. The art in my icon is of Olafpriol.deviantart.com, commissioned by yours truly. Do not use it without her permission and mine. 'lo! and from the West came fear in the form which no living mortal had seen! Her ego was terrible, her tongue was foul and she possessed the ability to drink any man under the table. Starkiller was her name, Starkilling was her purpose... I am a huge lover of all things folklore, particularly old Scandinavian, Russian and British tales. I also study Medieval and Scottish History, and Anthropology, so most of my work (my latest fics anyway) are based on my studies, particularly my Harry Potter fics. Unfortunately I don't have as much time to write as I used to due to university and in summer I'm usually off trekking mountains for quirky folktales and weird happenings, but I promise to write all of these down one day! 2011 Current Projects: My main project is a Post Deathly Hallows Harry Potter, Twin Vice Paranormal Detectives, featuring Fred, George and Luna Lovegood, and takes up a heck of a lot of my time, but I love it dearly and have so much fun researching it. It's based on several different mythological tales, folklore, and fairytales such as the Winter Queen, Red Riding Hood, The Three Surgeons, Ragnarok, The Erl King, The Well at World's End, The Boy who Drew Cats and the World Tree. I have a tremendous time writing it as it encompasses all my greatest loves. Thank you to everyone out there who has taken the time to read, review or draw art for it - I can't even begin to express how much it means to me. My university is: like something out of Hogwarts and situated on the east coast of Scotland. My current gripe is: the weather. I'm British, it is my civic duty to gripe. I have a hard time understanding: most things. Especially rubix cubes. The world could do without: Post Deathly Hallows Canon, rubbish Weasley twins fandom, canon-fanatics, misogynists, alcoholics, neds, chavs, preps, Bush, cookery programs, self-help books, critics, fuck-wits, cynics, emos, freeloaders, daytime TV and Kiera Knightley. I am a supporter of the Sober Universe (SU) I refuse to believe that JKR's recent revelations regarding post-DH ships are canon. I subscribe to the Sober Universe where we can use our imaginations to decide who ended up with who, and where my version is as true as yours. JKR has given us a wonderful universe to play with, but she has finished writing the books. Either she should have given us a decent epilogue to DH, telling us what we wanted to know, rather than what we could have guessed, or she should have kept her ideas about post-DH events, ships and names to herself. It is my personal belief that if she had actually tried to write any of the ships that are now "canon" (particularly George/Angelina), she would see that they do not work. I am aware that, by its very nature, fanfiction is not "canon", and cannot ever truly be canon. However, for those who showed enough respect to Jo Rowling to make every effort to keep their fics in line with her vision - some of her recent decisions have been rather disappointing. Had she included any or all of this information at the end of Deathly Hallows, that would have been wonderful - I'm sure many of us would have preferred a more fully complete edition of the Epilogue, which we were not afforded. I love the universe Jo gave us in first seven books (though perhaps a little less of the sixth, for those who know my works), but beyond hardback canon, the only canon I stick to, if it isn't AU, will be SU canon. This fic was started as an antidote to Fred's untimely un-Fredding in Deathly Hallows. Beta-read by the wonderful BloodRayne & StringofPearls, and devised with the aid of my brilliant mate Caith, this fic is currently my favourite obsession. Taking place five years after the events of the Battle of Hogwarts, Fred (now a ghost, the reason for which remains a mystery, even unto himself) and George purchase an old house in London, Islington - one that harbors a terrible curse and an ancient secret regarding Salazar Slytherin and his mother, Gudrun, the Snow-Walker. Ouroboros details the Hogwarts Founders' history and the wars they fought against the Unseelie Court and Salazar Slytherin's mother, the Winter Witch.
