I'm never sure what to say in a profile, but here it goes. I got started in fanfic with The Sentinel and am now very into NCIS, Criminal Minds and Supernatural (though I still keep up with TS fic, too.) I do a lot of volunteer work: with Senior Citizens, and have served on the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority here in my city. My favorite TV shows are NCIS, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory and Supernatural. I have been living with Juvenile Diabetes for almost 40 years and have multiple complications from it, but that doesn't stop me, just slows me down a bit. I am a liberal democrat and a strong advocate of preserving the environment and taking care of wild and domestic animals; i.e., Defenders of Wildlife and the Humane Society. Equality NC is the organization in my state that works for equal rights for LGBT persons and I have worked with them, even going to the NC legislature in Raleigh to talk with the Senator from my district about equal rights for LGBT persons. I love a good cause! Other than that, I spend my time knitting, drumming, crocheting and reading. That's about it.
