UPDATE! Jan. 4, 2011 - Ugh. What a great way to start the year. My little brother decided that it was really funny to delete my stories on FF.net. I had used our family computer to check my stories once and must have either forgot to logout and/or I had accidentally checked the "Remember me for 3 days" option. He only managed to delete AIA though, thank goodness. Which, by the way, I have re-uploaded and I actually took this as an opportunity to revise it a little. I have nine chapters written now so expect me to update once a week. Please read and review! :D

UPDATE! Dec. 27, 2010 - Belated Merry Christmas and Advance Happy New Year, everyone! I'm sorry that I haven't updated Twisted yet because I've been writing a new Twilight fanfic, called An Innocent Affair. It's a Jasper-centric, pre-Twilight series story. I've got the first two chapters up already. And just for the fun of it, I've also made fanfiction trailers for both Twisted and AIA. Hope you'll enjoy these. :)

Btw, if you're looking for a good adventure/action YA series, go and read The Hunger Games trilogy like RIGHT NOW. I'm serious. It's the best I've read this entire year. :D

STUFF ABOUT ME

Hi! The name's TFT which is short for The Forbidden Truth, of course. I'm 20 and a Special Education major. My favorite books are The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Shogun, Pride & Prejudice, and a ton of other books I'm too lazy to type here. I like anime a lot as well. My favorite colors (at the moment) are purple and green - like Barney! Lol. I write because I have a ton of ideas and writing is the only way I can make them more tangible, I guess.

I have to admit, I'm not a Twilight fan. In fact, I'm not that into the vampire romance genre at all. It's the mythology that really interests me. I like learning about all types of folklore -- how they differe from place to place and how they've changed and evolved throughout the years. I'm writing Twilight fanfiction because I was disappointed with how the books decided to play out. I liked the initial idea, intrigued that thye were supposedly based on many of my favorite classics (Jane Eyre, Pride & Prejudice, Romeo & Juliet, etc.) but as I started reading, I began to question a lot of the things that were written and dissatisfied when most of them were not answered. Because of this dissatisfaction, I decided to write in teh Twilight fandom and I hope to address these "issues" in my writing.

However, I happened to like some of the characters: Twilight/New Moon Jacob (meaning to say I don't like the Jacob in the last two books), Leah, Rosalie, Jasper, Marcus, Jane, and Aro to name a few. I like most of the human characters and find them somewhat more interesting than most of the vampire characters. Charlie Swan is my favorite. Most of my writing will revolve around these characters that I've mentioned. My least favorite characters are Bella, Edward, and Reneesme. Except fo rmy Anti Series which is like a re-write of Twilight to Eclipse and a bit of Breaking Dawn, all other fanfics will be one-shots or short stories.

Will I write anything non-Twilight? Maybe. I have a multi-crossover series in the works but have stopped working on it for now in favor of writing Twilight-related stuff.

I'm not a very "faithful" updater, unfortunately. It's very hard for me to say much less promise when I will update next. I guess it's because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. But despite this, I will try my best to update at least once every month.

What Do You Do At Night? - a collection of introspective one-shots on not just the vampires of the Twilight univrse but on certain other characters as well. Warning! Possible OCCness.

The Bad Sleep Well - another short story; this time it's Marcus-centric. I borrowed the title from Akira Kurosawa's 1960 film of the same name. If you knowor have seen the movie, you might get a vague idea on what my story will be about.

Beautiful Mind - A /gasp!/ Bella-centric one-shot/short story. I never thought to write about this particular character ever since I detest her so much and I would gladly avoided doing so but when a Eureka!moment strikes, for me unfortunately, it can't go unnoticed. Warning! Major character overhaul, plus I will be touching upon some serious topics such as autism.

The Anatomist - This came about while reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (an awesome vampire novel, btw!) and after watching this episode of Riddles of the Dead on National Geography. Some pretty morbid stuff going on in this sotry! Might be several chapters long.

1. Twisted - Helen Simons was a typical, average, everday kind of girl. There was nothing special about her except for one thing. She hated Twilight. While everyone else in the known universe love it to death, she detested it. And as fate would have it, someone, out of nowhere, decided that it was wrong. An Au/What If fic.

An Innocent Affair - Jasper/OC/AU/Pre-Twilight. Jasper's having a hard time controlling his bloodlust and his family isn't helping by just sending him off to Alaska in exile. Bitter and confused, he tries to find comfort in a new friend, Harrie. Warning: Anti Jasper/Alice pairing.
