WHY WRITE FANFIC?

Through many years of loving movies, TV shows and books there have been characters that I've loved so much that the original source media just wasn't enough. I wanted to know more, see more, experience more of their stories and their lives. I've always been a writer and storyteller so I started writing the stories I wanted to read - for myself and sometimes for my friends.

Imagine my delight the day I discovered fan fiction! There other people like me reading and writing stories about some of my favorite characters. And lucky me, there were some people who wanted to read my stories, too.

I would not call myself a prolific writer - I write only when inspired (aka when the characters speak to me in some way, demanding that a story be told) Lately the Drover from Australia and Tony Stark have done some sitting on my shoulder and talking in my ear, telling me their stories, demanding that I write them down as quickly as possible.

I have some older stories lurking around the net. Want to read 'em and can't find 'em? Drop me a line and I'll do what I can to point you in the right direction. (Many are from the Russell Crowe fandom - both his films and RPF.)
