Author has written 43 stories for iCarly, Shortland Street, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Glee. Dork-with-glasses The profile picture is not mine, I found it somewhere on the world wide internet. Reasons I may not be updating: General reasons Dork doesn't update: I'm really busy at school (exams, loads of internals), debating swamping me (as it often does), piano (although not often), I've got a new obsession (e.g. watching all Merlin episodes currently avaliable), I'm reading a really good fic or have discovered a new fandom (see: the Narnia obsession of Jan 2011, Dalton by CP Coulter), I'm bloody tired and cannot be stuffed, lack of ideas. 1st December 2011: I've just finished exams and I've still got my Grade Six piano exam next week. Further more, I'm going to the USA in less than two weeks (Wizarding World of Harry Potter here I come!) and will have little or no access to a computer (and it won't be the one I write fics on). So yeah, safe to say (although it always seems to be like this) updates will be a little thin on the ground. I'm really sorry! 3rd February 2012: Okay so I'm actually quite on top of my updates at the moment (I updated Time to Put Your Galleons Where Your Mouth Is! a couple of days ago and I'm about to update A Little Bit Weasley but fanfiction isn't letting me access the upload documents thing so be patient and it'll be out soon) but in the coming weeks this might not be the case. I've just started my last year at high school (well we call it college but I know if I say that people will get confused and think I'm talking about university, which I'm not) and that's kind of a big deal- I'm trying to get involved in a lot of things so that I can take that forward for University. I'm also taking up some scholarship subjects which will obviously limit my time. Also looking for a part-time job because University is expensive and I'm looking to move cities to go so it's even more expensive! So anyway, I'm in a bit of an explaining mood so that's why this is so long. Basically: might not be quick because it's my last year at school. I'm planning on getting better by setting myself daily objectives so that can only be an improvement! 12th April 2012: Okay so I've been really bad on the update front recently. The reasons: School. School. School. Essay competition. School. Debating. School. Debating. School. Yup, I had a lot on - actually I didn't have obscene amounts, I just handled my timing really really badly (as in I finished the essay for the competition about an hour ago and I've had it since last year - yeah, I'm great at organising in theory but not so much in practice). I'm also off to Fiji for just over a week so no updates until I get back! I'm going to try and write while I'm over there though - hopefully get the next chapter of A Little Bit Weasley out because I haven't updated that in forever and it's not that quality of a story so I don't really have an excuse. 1st July 2012: Guess who's super bad at updating? ME! I have been really busy lately though, with school and well, school. But I do have two weeks of holidays now and since pretty much all my friends are travelling overseas, I should have some time to write/I'm making myself write. I did quite a bit today and it reminded me how much I enjoyed it so hopefully more stuff should be coming your way. I'm going to try and finished Time to Put Your Galleons by my birthday (July 24th) so I can focus on A Little Bit Weasley and actually get both of them finished. My aim is to get them finished before I start Uni next year at the end of February. Hopefully that works out but I'm bound to get busy when I get back to school. Exams. Urgh I hate them. Anyway, thanks for sticking with my through my two months of basically no updating (read: one mediocre update). Sorry again! I kind of just deleted the rest of my profile because it felt like too much stuff and that no one really cared. All that was on here were my various fandoms (for both reading and writing), fic recommendations and my favourite characters and pairings.
