An introduction? Why not. I go by Roo, and enjoy writing/drawing/Photoshopping in my spare time.

I've written plenty of stuff over the years, but IWFYID was my first foray into actually posting on FFN. I'm glad I took the step; I've had some wonderful reviews, talked to some really great people, and had an amazing beta, LDaemon.

Currently, I've placed I Will Follow You Into the Dark on hiatus, pending a massive rewrite for questionable-in-the-first-place content. Thank you to all the readers who favorited, alerted, and reviewed. You were all amazing, and I hope that you stay tuned for the updated version in the future.

Current Projects:

Propeller Hats: Propeller Hats is pending a better name, but is still a story about family, love, and above all the importance of stuffed snakes. Six years after the Final Battle, Severus Snape finds himself confronted with a mysterious aspiring Potions Mistress on the World Wizarding Web (WWW). Through a series of emails and one startling meeting in a coffee shop in Ireland, Snape's world is turned upside down as secrets come to light, and he finds himself the caretaker of a very cheeky five year old.

King and Lionheart: King and Lionheart follows the story of Hermione Granger, only daughter of a fur trader from the distant mountains. A mere commoner, Hermione has only heard stories about the great magic performed by the warrior mages of legend who reside in Hogwarts Castle in the kingdom's capital. When a mysterious Wandsmith visits her fief, Hermione finds out that magic isn't only for nobles, and that she has magic of her very own. Her journey to become a warrior-mage is fraught with conflict and prejudice, laughter and companionship, and a curious friendship with the crown prince that will be tested as she grows from a cub to the Lionheart she was destined to become.

Both stories are in the process of being fleshed out, and each have at least something down on paper. I hope to have them mostly finished before I start posting, so I don't run into the problems that I had with IWFYID and (incredibly) slow updates.

Propeller Hats has its own LiveJournal account, where I will occasionally post illustrations and character sketches to accompany the story line. Currently it's fairly bare bones, but you can check there to see if I've posted any drabbles or WIP chapters. Someday, I'd like to illustrate PH in its entirety, and may undertake this as I simultaneously write the story.

King and Lionheart will also have its own illustrations, and will most likely have a LiveJournal account, or a folder on my deviantART page where its art will reside.

Here is a shoutout to my amazing sounding boards and muses! Rinny009 constantly listens to me rant and ramble about any number of things, and is wonderfully fantastic about keeping me on track and being my taskmaster.

TycheSong has been instrumental in character development and museish endeavors. She always welcomes random ideas and plot bunnies about PH, and is a great source of amusement over instant messenger statuses.

Thank you both for being such amazing friends. My fics would be in a very dark, scary place without you.
