I'm almost done with high school now.
I love to draw manga/anime and write fanfiction for the shows/comics I like.
I suffer from medical depression, but thanks to my friends, family, and therapist, I've managed to stop hating myself. I used to believe everything was worthless; now I am accepting of nearly every kind of person and belief.

ART COMMISSIONS/REQUESTS
If you would like a color/black and white or lineart drawing of any character or your oc, I am currently doing commissions free of charge. You can take a look at me work at wanderer001.deviantart.com, or just look at my avatar here. All commissions will be posted on my DeviantArt account, from where you can do what you'd like with it, or you may provide your email address to have it sent to you if you are comfortable with that. Here are the requirements:

-No groups larger than four.
-Please provide reference or make sure reference is available on the web. If your character is an oc who does not have a picture, please describe in detail. I will ask any questions I have via message.
-Yaoi/yuri (gay pairings) and some sexual themes are fine, but I will not draw explicit nudity or sexual intercourse.
-One drawing per person per month. (One month starts when you submit the request, not when I see it.)
-You may provide a time limit, just make sure it is reasonable. Please allow for at least a few days.
-This may be free, but please remember to say thank you!

-A brief description of the character(s) (nothing big, just some personality traits, maybe a favorite quote)

How soon you will receive your commission will depend on how busy I am or how many commissions I have, but if it takes me more than two or three weeks, message me again to remind me and I will put you on my priority list.

Fanfiction stereotypes: addressing either side of the argument.

YAOI IS NOT PORNOGRAPHY.
-While there is often graphic content in "boy love" fanfictions and anime/manga, the only real difference between yaoi/shounen ai and a heterosexual romance is that both partners are male. Male-female relationships involve sex as well, and hentai does exist, so why are these not all considered porn?
HOWEVER: Although sex can be a natural part of a story, there is such thing as overdoing it. Some yaoi writers seem to be under the impression that it is necessary to have the characters "do the deed" at every opportunity. This belief only propels the stereotype. This doesn't mean "no sex in storytelling"; everything in moderation.

NOT ALL OCS ARE MARY-SUES.
-It is a common misconception that every OC is a self-insert. However, to effectively write one must place oneself in each and every character's position, thereby using one's own beliefs and judgement, so writing itself is inserting one's self into the story. That is what makes effective writing.
HOWEVER: While not every OC is a self-insert, not every one is original either. OCs are subject to the same limitations as other writing aspects, and their authors must work hard not to create "Mary-Sue"s or "Marty-Stu"s. This is like the struggle to keep characters from becoming OOC.

-We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.
-I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting management called on me.
-I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.
-I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system suddenly grow cold and distant when they found out that my abusive partner is also a woman.
-I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support to turn to because I am male.
-I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
-I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me only lesbians do that.
-I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
-I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not alwyas have to deal with society hating me.
-I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
-I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most; love.
-I am the son who is afraid of telling his loving, Christian parents I love another male.
