Hey! I'm Kamiko no Ummei and I am now a official camper on this site!(a.k.a a name for a person who has had an account on the site for more than a month)

Guess I should start by telling about myself.(FYI: You are now entering 'Tasuki fan' central and the notes of a helpless romantic)

Birthday: September 26

Age: 13-20 (you figure it out or guess, I'm not telling you, heck I don't even know you /sticks tongue out playfully/)

Favorite color: I like red, black, blue and white...heh, stange, now that I think about that, all of those colors can be related to fighting, injuries and, well, death...awkwar~d

Worst qualities: I'm short-tempered, do stuff I shouldn't behind my parent's back, am an irritable (somehow even to my self) goody two shoes who's afraid of trouble, am a rambler, as you will soon see, and I'm just down right terrible sometimes.

Best qualities: I try to not do stuff to annoy or bother people even if they don't say or show any of those signs, I do everything my parent's ask me without complaining (except when they're asking me for an opinion, or trying ot bring me somewhere I don't wanna), I keep my grades up well enough to have no problems, and I try to be considerate and view things from others perspectives.

Loves:

Anime/manga-I started the craze at a young age, one of my first major ones was Inuyasha. I've gone through a couple switches of anime/manga interests for a while now.

Food- Just cause' I like it doesn't mean I'm a glutton or fat, YA HEAR ME!

T.V.- I like to watch cartoons!

Internet- It's awsome and fun, but for me it's really hard to use sometimes, I mean really, I'm technologically challenged, I'm your basic electronics poison on the next level

Animals- I like dogs, bunnies, hamsters, mostly cats (and I ain't gonna be some crazy cat lady when I'm old as my friends sometimes joke)

Crossovers-I go nuts for them for some unknown reason as long as they suit my pairing taste

Music-I really like japanese openings and ending themes from anime (not gonna list them all, that'd take the rest of forever!) I also have a music for 8 year olds made by teenage disney artists, yet I also love songs that sound dark, scary and even emo sometimes...strange mixure of music taste in one person, huh?

Reading- I'm a book worm, but not as in a school one, but as in 'I read for fun since I get too bored with myself and hardly get out (people wonder if I have a real life and how I find the time to read with school and all, but my so-called friends just call me 'a sheltered child' all the time for not knowing things such as famous things, people, or other stuff).

Night-It's a very calm and peaceful time and I'm guaranteed to be left alone, I don't know, I just feel better during night time

Hates:

Most popular American foods-Pie, whipped cream, tomatoes(though somehow I LOVE ketchup, and salsa), all pasta that is not plain spagetti and tomato sauce or maceroni and cheese, ramen, almost all vegtables except corn and potatoes, turkey, ect. You wouldn't believe how many 'are you carzy!?' faces I've gotten because of this and the deprived thing

Animals- To be particular, birds. My mom got one a year or so ago, I don't hate it as much anymore since I have less contact with it now, but I still wish my dog could play with the little guy again, if you know what I mean

Maps-Oh man I loathe them like you wouldn't believe! Stupid endless squiggily lines, useless names and crap...yes, I'm also directionally challenged (though I can say I'm not as bad as ryoga from ranma 1/2 or kouryuu from the tale of saiunkoku!)

Shopping-Not all shopping is bad for me, just most types, ESPECIALLY clothes shopping (I know what you're thinking, 'what kind of a girl doesn't like to shop, especially clothes shopping!' well to those, people I say, put a sock in it and ya know what...I hate make-up too, so ha...HA I say! I simply detest clothes shopping and most other girly aspects, so sue me.

Winter-I don't like this season very much although it's weird to say that considering which state I'm from

School-Let's just say it's not my favorite place and I'd rather be home schooled for reasons beyond your comprehension or my words could possibly describe

Horror movies-Although I've never had a nightmare before, it definately causes lack of sleep for me

Morning-It's so hard to get up, uhg!!

Pain-I'm a real wuss when it comes to pain, but deal with it fairly well

So, I will admit I am one of those sissy girls who is in love with an anime character, but I must say, Yuu Watase's detailed description of Tasuki and all that characterizes him does make him see to be a very rounded (real) character. But really, right down to the core and heart, I am a Tasuki lover and I love to read romance stories about him (preferebly with miaka).

The links below is a site for all fans of tasuki to visit! Inside it has a summary of tasuki's past before he met miaka and appeared in the series, it's really interesting and more detailed than the small known fact that tasuki ran away at a young age and joined the Mt. Reikaku bandits. Including other pieces of information that was not in his profile page in fushigi yugi's 6th volume 'Summoning', such as his birthday, and other personal facts. And if you want to get more into detail about the novel 'Genrou's den' the second link is an english translation with a couple pictures, I highly recommend these sites enjoy!

I would also recommend to all tasuki lovers about seeing the profile of LadyPersphone, she wrote some of her thoughts on the fushigi yuugi series (including things about Tasuki, and Miaka's characters) that I find quite interesting. Her theory's on the series seem quite possible and she brings up some points most people probably haven't thought of, check it out!
