Hi there! I'm psychopath-convention (which comes from a Jerry Seinfeld quote) but I would prefer that you call me Emily in messages.

I love reading for fun, watching movies (Dirty Dancing is my favorite!), being with the people I love, and summertime.

On here, the fics I read are: Gilmore Girls (with only RoryxJess and LorelaixLuke pairing) ; The Outsiders (I can't possibly pick a favorite character. A lot of people can't write Ponyboy or Dallas very well in my opinion so not as many of those, not because I don't love them, but because I don't like to read them OOC. Also I won't read slash. I respect you if you want to write it, this is just me.) ; Twilight (only Jacob stories though. I'm hardcore Team Jacob.) ; the occasional Grease story (I love Rizzo&Kenickie! Or however you would spell that boy's name!).

Quotes: (Well, more like lengthy portions of my favorite books. xD)

CAUTION: The first two contain character death spoilers from the books "Looking for Alaska" and "The Outsiders". Don't want to ruin anything for you! ;D

He was gone, and I did not have time to tell him what I had just now realized: that I forgave him, and that she forgave us, and that we had to forgive to survive in the labyrinth. There were so many of us who would have to live with things done and things left undone that day. Things that did not go right, things that seemed okay at the time because we could not see the future. If only we could see the endless string of consequences that result from our smallest actions. But we can't know better until knowing better is useless. And as I walked back to give Takumi's note to the Colonel, I saw that I would never know. I would never know her well enough to know her thoughts in those last minutes, would never know if she left us on purpose. But the not knowing would not keep me from caring, and I would always love Alaska Young, my crooked neighbor, with all my crooked heart "
- John Green (Looking for Alaska)

Dally raised the gun, and I thought: You blasted fool. They don't know you're only bluffing. And even as the policemen's guns spit fire into the night I knew that was what Dally wanted. He was jerked half around by the impact of the bullets, then slowly crumpled with a look of grim triumph on his face. He was dead before he hit the ground. But I knew that this was what he wanted, even as the lot echoed with the cracks of shots, even as I begged silently -- Please, not him . . . not him and Johnny both -- I knew he would be dead, because Dally Winston wanted to be dead and he always got what he wanted. Nobody would write editorials praising Dally. Two friends of mine had died that night: one a hero, the other a hoodlum. But I remembered Dally pulling Johnny through the window of the burning church; Dally giving us his gun, although it could mean jail for him; Dally risking his life for us, trying to keep Johnny out of trouble. And now he was a dead juvenile deliquent and there wouldn't be any editorials in his favor. Dally didn't die a hero. He died violent and young and desperate, just like we all knew he'd die someday. But Johnny was right. He died gallant.
- S.E. Hinton (The Outsiders)

And now Rocky is begging me to watch Dora the Explorer with him. I understand that millions of kids love Dora and have learned to read or whatever from her show. But I wouldn't mind if Dora fell off a cliff and took her little pals with her. - Meg Cabot (Forever Princess)

( I added the last quote to lighten things up a bit. I'm beginning to notice a pattern in my favorite books. :) I also added it because it's my favorite series of books. I swear Mia Thermapolis is the fictional me. xD)

R.I.P. Patrick Swayze

I'm very talkative and if you love anything I have mentioned in this profile or think we have anything in common feel free to message me! I'll respond as soon as I get it! I love discussing characters as if they are real people. xD I'm a nerd like that.
