Author has written 8 stories for Ranma. GUESS WHAT?! My birthday is on THURSDAY! I'm gonna be 17! WEEEEEEEEEE!! I'm so excited! Yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!!!
So, a little bit about me:
My dream, I want to be a manga artist. I've been watching anime since I was four, but I really got into it when I was 12 and my kickass seventh-grade English teacher showed us the first season of Dragonball. So, thank you, Mr. Swift! I've been studying manga ever since then (no, really studying, it's the only thing I've ever even taken notes on.)
I think you can tell a lot about people from their writings, drawing, manga, etc. Even voice actors. In my opinion, Seki Tomokazu has to be gay. I don't mean this as a bad thing, but he's done the voice of Shuuichi in Gravitation, Dee in FAKE, and Ken in Weiss Kreuz. Yeah, so.
I think Kappei Yamaguchi would be a jubilant person with a good sense of humor.
Rumiko Takahashi probably is quiet and keeps her feelings to herself but can tell the best joke ever and has a secret streak of perverseness.
Even so, you can tell a lot about me from my fanfiction! I think my last fic summed me up quite well, because I'm incredibly immature and light-hearted and like video games, anime, and Pepsi. I like all sorts of music, my favotite hard rock group is Ill Nino, my favorite lighter group is 3 Doors Down, and I'll even listen to country music if it doesn't suck. I like J-rock and J-pop, and my favorite Japanese male singer is Gackt, (because in the religion of Otakuism, he is the one true God) but my favorite J-pop group is GLAY. My favorite Japanese female singer is Ayumi Hamasaki and my favorite Muppet singer is Kermit. (Although Rolfe kicks ass too.) My favorite Ninja Turtle was Donatello, and my favorite color is green.
I'm from the southern U.S., you know, Virginia. I am the oldest of five children and my mom is crazy and my dad is crazy and there's seven people living in one tiny little house, so I'm crazy too, but hey, only eighteen months and four days until I turn 18 and can LEAVE.
My favorite anime:
10. Martian Successor Nadesico. Mecha and scifi and romance and comedy and neato super great stuff! Only they killed my favorite character. But the anime is so good, even for old school. (Oh my god, Nadesico is old school now . . . I feel so old.)
9. Oh My Goddess. Yeah, it was 5 episodes long, but they were the five cutest episodes of anything ever. The movie totally blew, though. They let me down.
8. Love Hina. I love Love Hina. It's so funny and cute and all about Toudai. I wuv it. Wuv. Feel the wuv.
7. Yu Yu Hakusho. What can I say? Yusuke's funny and the fight's are a hell of a lot better and a lot less tedious than Dragonball Z. Original, witty, and shonen, with a half decent dub.
6. Here is Greenwood. This was only six episodes long, with a makes-your-ears-bleed dub. But the series itself is simply amazing, with a terrific group of characters and shows the true meaning of friendship without being smarmy about it like Yu-gi-oh. (Not that I don't like Yu-gi-oh.)
5. Naruto. Any and all Naruto. With action and ninjas, cutting-edge animation, and the most lovable little fox-demon-boy EVER, how can you not love Naruto? If you don't, you're some sort of FREAK.
4. Gravitation. Oh, that totally threw you off, didn't it? Shonen-ai and boy bands and Kappei. I love Gravitation. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
3. Inuyasha. I am not one of those people that are like "I like that show on Cartoon Network, you know, with that guy with the ears? Yeah. I like anime. Durr--hurrr." I hate those people. I like Inuyasha for its action, comedy, romance, and Kappei. I waited for three years (THREE YEARS) for it's American release. I was very pleased. Thank you.
2. Comic Party. Comic Party is the total biz-omb. About a young man who is introduced into the fast paced world of dojinshi. This anime hits home, and is usually realistic in the most unlikely of places, despite its usual over-the-top humor. A series that is enjoyable as it is educational, truly, truly great.
1. Ranma 1/2. What can I say but "duh?" Despite it age, it still entertains fans of all ages and genders. While completely unbelievable and side-splitting hilarious, it also has moments that make it real and connectable. After a while, it develops cliches, but it's Ranma cliches, which are different from all the other cliches in the world.
My favorite video game is . . . Kingdom Hearts! Excuse me for being childish. It's a good game. Number two is Metal Gear Solid 2. It rules all that is good. Despite the fact that I do like Final Fantasy, turn-based battle systems have their own spot in hell. Oh, and DDR rocks.
The people I admire most: Rumiko Takahashi, Osamu Tezuka, Mamoru Oshii, Eiichiro Oda, Kappei Yamaguchi, Leonardo Da Vinci, and my friend Leslie Martinez. Oh, and Yoko Kanno's cool, too. Hmm . . . and Stan Lee. And the inventor of cheese muffins. And Susan Napier. She wrote a book. Cool.
So. Read my fics or go away. I don't care. I'm going to keep writing no matter what!
