How you should address me (other than Her Esteemed Majesty): Well...I've got one of those name things...but it feels like names should be used on the internet only when you think you kinda know someone well. But I can say that I've got lady parts. They're all natural.

Where you should address the millions in gold bullion you plan to send me: I live in Phoenix, Arizona. It's dry, hot, and not always easy on my hair. My poor, poor, frazzled hair.

Some more personal things about me...and my awesomeness: I'm a Virgo/Libra cusp birthday, born in the Year of the Tiger, and I identify with the Nordic rune Fehu. Just in case that means anything to anyone. And I have this thing about the sun - I'm neurotic about sunscreen and, even though I live in Arizona, I wear long-sleeves and pants all year long. I also have this boyfriend...I guess, you know he's a pain, but it's been three years and stuff...think maybe I should just marry him already. Also, the only kind of person I hate is a thief. "Every other sin is a variation of theft - when you kill a man, you steal a life; when you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth; when you cheat, you steal the right to fairness."

What kinds of things I like - you know, just in case you care to strike up a lively, witty repartee: Um, I like a lot of things. A list would only limit the true vastness of my emotional attachment to the myriad of ridiculous things I love...but I'll give it a shot anyway.

Anime: I started off watching anime on Cartoon Network. Toonami introduced me to the wonders of Sailor Moon, DragonballZ, Gundam, and Tenchi Muyo, sealing my love of Japanese animation forever. Later Cartoon Network started showing some awesome things on Adult Swim like Lupin III, Evangelion, InuYasha, Wolf's Rain, Samurai Champloo, FLCL, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in a Shell, and Cowboy Beebop. I also like Death Note, xxxHolic, Erog Proxy, Escaflowne, Blood Trinity, and Zoids. I'll admit that I don't watch a lot of anime anymore. I read a lot of manga. But I still watch Naruto, Bleach, and Gintama regularly.

Manga: I'm a lot more into manga than I am into anime these days. Shipping Wars, as explained by the Dread Pirate Nihilo: Gah. Shipping wars. I guess you should know where I ship to... Well, I'm pretty into crack parings. You'll never see me write a cannon relationship unless its Shikamaru/Temari (Naruto) or Shunsui/Nanao (Bleach) because they're the only cannon-esque couples I care for. I like Kankurou/Tenten, Neji/Tenten, Itachi/Sakura, Kakashi/Sakura, and even Lee/Sakura (come on...it's kinda cute). I also am a big fan of Gaara/Hinata (like you couldn't tell) and Neji/Hinata (yah, I know it's incest, but I don't really care a whole hell of a ton considering they're fictional anyway). As far as Bleach... Well, I really like Toshiro/Rangiku, but I also like Gin/Rangiku. I'm a big Orihime fan (man, why do people hate her so much?), but not particularly with Ichigo. I like Ulquiorra/Orihime, Grimmjow/Orihime, Kenpachi/Orihime (um, big surprise, yah), Uryuu/Orihime, Urahara/Orihime (very few of these, but it's got a naughty school girl kind of feel to it...), and for some reason Dark Ichigo/Orihime. I've also read these really good Mayuri/Isane stories (ahem, see Illegitimi in my fav authors) that I highly suggest reading. As a person with more imagination than time (being a fulltime job and fulltime student sucks), I frequently find myself writing stories in my head, some of which even make it to paper…word processor…whatever. I decided that I should post a little corner of future projects…because I’m arbitrary like that.

Bleach

The Magnificent Inoue Orihime: My Life in the Kidou Corps Sometimes, when she’s feeling particularly vindictive, Orihime envisions stabbing people in the eye with her four inch stilettos. Boy, does she hate being a magician’s assistant.

-- This will probably be the next novel-length story I publish. The story came to me after re-watching the Turn Back the Pendulum arc. In that arc it shows Tsukabishi Tessai (Kidou Corps Commander and Grand Kidou Chief) and Ushouda Hachigen (Vice Kidou Chief) all dressed to impress in their TOTALLY FLAMBOYANT MAGICIAN COSTUMES! Seriously, it was like the most wonderful joke ever! The Kidou Corps are a bunch of little boys playing magician. They even refer to casting spells and all that. So, it got me thinking (especially after Ukitake commented how reclusive the Kidou Corps were), what exactly are the Kidou Corps like? Well, this is Inoue Orihime’s story in the Kidou Corps, I hope you enjoy it.

IN REGARDS TO THE DIVINE WINDS OF SUNA and SEQUELS

Well…true story… I was writing Chapter 15 of The Divine Winds of Suna (DWS) when something hit my like a block of rocks. It was a cold, hard, inescapable fact. I couldn’t finish the story with a happy ending. NOT until there was more SUFFERING!!

I’m practically some kind of sadist, because I can’t even imagine a story where my characters don’t suffer. Like A LOT. Not always physical suffering. Usually it’s the emotional kind.

Also, it’s not like I hate happy endings. Actually, they’re a must. After all the suffering, there’s a cathartic ending, in which – even if they aren’t perfect – things are still good. It’s how I am.

So, DWS couldn’t get a happy ending. Sorry.

However, it was also during Chapter 15 of DWS that my crazy started working again, and I was able to plan out enough material for two more sequels, and also two (to three) interludes. At work I wrote down a rough plot outline and the titles.

The Divine Winds of Suna He was Strong and she was Weak. He was a Predator and she was Prey. The only use he had for her was her Byakugan. So why couldn't he stop looking at her? Why was he always thinking about her? And why did he have this overwhelming desire to touch her? Gaara/Hinata (Complete)

Interlude: Dance on Strings Kankurou and Tenten are on a joint mission to assassinate a traitor from Suna who has stolen one of Tenten’s prized weapons. Kankurou/Tenten–centric story that takes place between The Divine Winds of Suna and The Hell Fires of Konoha

The Hell Fire of Konoha After two years of separation, Hinata unwillingly returns to Suna as part of a treaty between the two villages. When an enemy targets Suna and Konoha, Hinata’s skill as a kunoichi is needed, drawing her and Gaara together once again. Gaara/Hinata

Interlude: Shadows on the Heart A Shikamaru/Temari–centric story that takes place between The Hell Fire of Konoha and The Scorched Earth of Iwa.

How is it even possible that I can be so neurotic? This isn’t my first fanfiction…not by a long-shot. But this IS my first Naruto fanfiction. It’s a huge project I’ve planned for myself, especially since it’s an EFFING TRILOGY! With INTERLUDES! What was I thinking? Well, I was thinking that if I didn’t finish the story properly that it would haunt me and disembowel me in my sleep.

So, I know people will probably get sick of this story, and maybe they’ll stop reading and accuse me of joy-writing (which I imagine is similar to joyriding – a pleasure ride in an automobile, esp. when the vehicle is driven recklessly or used without the owner's permission). And that’s all fine. I DO write primarily for myself, but I like for other people to enjoy my fanfiction as well.

This rant is long and ridiculous, so – in true manga style – I’ll say, I’M LEAVING FIRST!
