Tattward & Inkella One-Shot Contest

WANTED: On the hunt for a good Tattward. Piercings a bonus. Can't be a stoner, a drunk or fuck anything and everything that moves. All applicants apply within.

Okay, so we don't want our Badassward all virginal (though a good Corruptableward is always fun...), but, honestly, we can only read so many fics where Edward is a tattoo artist that gets high, fucks and drinks himself into oblivion. Thus the need for a Tattward & Inkella One-Shot Contest. We're on the hunt for something new...

We do so love our Edwards decorated, though... You know, hot, buff, a well-placed tat (or ten), a nipple ring, tongue ring ~ maybe a Prince Albert if that's your bag (snort)... Just purdy him up real nice and SHARE, m'kay?

How this is gonna go down (snicker):

All submissions will be screened to ascertain that the requirements have been met. Any that do not will be immediately disqualified.

All entries will be read and voted on by a small panel of judges where the selections will be narrowed down to the top five per fifteen fics entered (i.e. for thirty fics entered, there would be ten in the final running). The top entries will be put up for a public vote, with a placement for the top three fics.

What do ya get if ya win?

First place winner will be featured on The Perv Pack's Smut Shack. You'll also get bragging rights. Maybe some fake tattoos. And, if you're lucky, some man meat inspired by your fic.

Requirements:

No Drug Use.

Must be well-beta'd ~ fics not meeting a minimum standard of grammar usage will be disqualified (for example, proper use of there/their/they're, staying in one tense, spelling, etc). If you are unsure of your abilities, get a beta. Or two. Anyone needing assistance finding a beta, please contact Project Team Beta for help.

Open to all pairings.

Collaborations are acceptable.

Must be M-rated.

No underage submissions will be accepted. If you can't buy porn (18+), you shouldn't be writing it either.

Main character(s) must have some sort of body art (i.e. tattoos, piercings, etc).

No rape, incest or mutilation will be accepted.

Must be a one-shot and must be a new story.

Entries must have a minimum of 2,500 words, maximum words 10k.

One-shot cannot be continued until the contest is complete.

Maximum of three entries per person.

Contest entries must be received no later than July 31, 2009 11:59PM CST

Public vote will be started on or about August 7, 2009, ending August 14, 2009 at 11:59PM CST

All entries must be posted on Fanfiction.net. Once your story has been posted, please submit the link via PM for entrance into the contest.

We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to dates and/or rules should that become necessary.

~~~UPDATE~~~ as of 8/6/09 - The judges have worked day and night to get the entries read and though it was an incredibly hard decision, the scores have been tallied and the finalists have been announced! The list of all 26 stories (1 being a collab) can be found on our "Favorite Stories" list. The complete list of entries can still be found in the C2. There was lots of amazing talent that submitted their work, so thank you to everyone that entered!! I am pleased to say we found lots of newbie writers and that's what I was hoping for when the contest was started.
