Author has written 35 stories for Twilight, Harry Potter, and Merlin. Once upon a time I read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. This was quickly followed by New Moon, Eclipse, and eventually Breaking Dawn. I read these books at time in my life where I was feeling extraordinarily weighed down by the world. I needed to know that I still lived in a world not necessarily where true love exists, but at least in a world where people still believe that it does. So I read, and re-read. Then I discovered Twilight Fan Fiction. (Sure, I've dabbled in Harry Potter fanfic ever since the epilogue left me aghast.) And some of it is wonderful. Better than the original. Haunting, hilarious, touching, angst-ridden, quirky, deep, delicious, painful, poetic, erotic, beautiful, thoughtful, sexy, mysterious, loving... I am not at all attached to canon pairings, and I have a weak spot for slash. I don't picture the characters from the movie when I read; though I love Billy Burke's portrayal of Charlie and I definitely would not be opposed to seeing two certain other cast members act out some of my favorite slash. Just saying. ;) As for my own writing, I don't know what to say. I never thought I'd actually write my own fics, because I write so much (decidedly non-fiction) in RL. But, I've found that it's terribly fun and a nice release. I like to try out different styles and pairings. I prefer slash and seem to be in an E/J rut... but it's not such a bad rut to be in. I've also developed a bit of a twitter addiction. (@tuesdaymidnight) About Wanderlust: This was a one-shot written for the Dirty Talking Jasper Contest. I have to thank the amazing UNF4Rob for making this absolutely perfect banner and to Twislash Unveiled for recommending it on their blog. About Raw and Rosy: This is a very different story from what I usually write, and I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the positive response. The first two chapters were originally posted anonymously on the Twi-Kink Meme on LiveJournal. It is more graphic than my other writing, and is mostly PWP. I realize that some aspects of this story are unrealistic, but it's meant for entertainment purposes only. Please do not read it if spank!fics are not your thing. However, you need not have read SMIH to read it. I want to make it Jasper's story as much as possible, so I will aim for minimal overlap. Because of the episodic nature of SMIH, a lot of events were skipped over that I will attend to in SMM. If there are any parts in SMIH that you want further explanation of, let me know, and I can try to include them! Third, the amazing Captain Jezebel also recommended this on TwiSlash Unveiled! *blushes* I really never thought I would write a multi-chapter fic, but the ideas kept coming to me and this is the first one I wrote. I meant for this story to be very episodic and not particularly serial, so there are fairly significant leaps in time that are very quickly accounted for. This is, at its heart, a love story about Edward and Jasper’s relationship, and I’m merely picking up the highlights. It seems to me from my life that that’s kind of how it works, you get lost in everyday life until you have a moment that temporarily wakes you up.
