Author has written 22 stories for Star Trek: 2009, StarTrek: The Original Series, and Elementary. I've been a Star Trek fan from the first episode in the 60's--Spock and Kirk and crew were my childhood companions! In my adult life I teach high school--yes, my classroom has lots of Star Trek posters--but it also has plenty of hilarious Demotivational posters, too, from Despair.com, which helps a bit with my "cool factor" (which needs lots of help). It's quite fun to watch a new generation of Trek fans take to the rebooted movie. In my little corner of the Star Trek universe--the corner that I regularly spy on and report from--Spock and Uhura interact in several stories. If you are interested, here they are in chronological order: "My Mother, the Ambassador" (spans the entire spectrum of my little timeline without repeating those stories) "What We Think We Know" "Slips of the Tongue" "The Visitor" "The Word You Mean" "People Will Say" (overlaps the time line from "The Betrayal," "The Interview," and "The Complexity of Human Pranks" but does not retell those stories) "Crossing the Equator" (picks up where "People Will Say" leaves off, overlaps the timeline until "Truth and Lies" but does not retell those stories; includes the story of Chris Pike and Natalie Jolsen) "The Betrayal" "The Interview" "The Complexity of Human Pranks" "Truth and Lies" "The Envoy" "Twenty-four Hundred" "Once and Future" "The Survivors" "The Prodigal Son" "Running in the Dark" (a "Star Trek Into Darkness" story) "Dream Weaver" (written for Trekreversebang 2011, this story is set during the Enterprise's shakedown cruise post movie...it works as a stand alone story for readers who have read none of my other S/U stories. Rated R for the illustration--just to be safe--though it isn't explicit, and for the subject matter of the fic--naughty dreams!) "Ceremony" (written for LJ's Spock/Uhura Shippers comm 2011 holiday fic exchange...it begins immediately after the Battle of Vulcan and takes place over an exact year. A longish oneshot.) I have also written a TOS story, Changelings," based on the episode "The Changeling," where the damaged probe Nomad wipes Uhura's memory, and I've started a second TOS story, "Sum of the Parts," which is an account of the first time the Enterprise tangles with the Nexus.
